FemaleTerrier (Unknown Type, Small) /Dachshund

April is about a year and a half. She is a terrier mix. She is bonded with her momma so they must be adopted together; one adoption donation. Both are very shy and timid at first, but will come out of their shell in no time. I prefer a home where someone is home must of the time. They are not crate trained. They are being fostered in TX. Both are spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventatives. If you can love a momma and her baby, please email me at in the photo April is on the right and June on the left.

Peanuts Small Dog Rescue

Shelter Description

I have been doing rescue work for many years and all pets that are up for adoption are fully vetted prior to adoption. If you are interested in a puppy that has not been spayed yet, a deposit can be made to hold that pup if your application has been approved.

Shelter Driving Directions

I currently do not hold any adoption events, but if you live in the same state where the dog is being fostered, arrangements can be made.

Areas Served

Peanuts Small Dog Rescue is a small rescue that rescues dogs all over the nation. I do adopt out-of-state with approved application and home visit.

My rescue is located in IL, but the dogs are located in TX, therefore I have a TX address listed.

I am currently looking for foster homes in all states.

Adoption Instructions

When filling out an application, the potential adopter will be required to fill out an application that will include; a reference check vet check to make sure all other pets in the home are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. Fees are listed. I do have a senior-to-senior program where my senior dogs, if adopted by a senior of 55+, are adopted at a lower rate to put my senior dogs in a more calm environment. Please ask me about it.
