Meet Betty Ford! This little tri-pod brown tabby kitten was found under the hood of a Ford at a local car dealership with a badly broken front leg. She unfortunately lost her front let, but has recovered like a champ and is learning how to be a domesticated kitty in her foster home! Her distinct coloring and sweet eyes will win you over in no time!
Betty took to the 3-legged lifestyle in no time – she runs, jumps and climbs stairs with ease! Her biggest challenge was learning to trust humans and interact as a non-feral kitty. Luckily she is young, and is quickly becoming a loving (and trusting) little kitty! She’s in the company of 2 other cats and a guinea pig in her foster home, who have helped her learn the ropes of being a house pet. Every day she is coming out of her shell more, and even is starting to play! She comes downstairs to greet her foster mom when she gets home from work, and has quickly learned about treat time! Even if her foster cat siblings hiss at her, she isn’t fazed and still interacts with them!
Betty lets her foster mom pet and pick her up, and quickly learned to enjoy the affection. She isn’t quite a lap kitty yet, but does enjoy being picked up and loved on! Over time, she will become more and more affectionate – and has come a long way already!
