Meet Callin! Callin and his wife Hazel are rabbits on the outside but cats on the inside!! Both love to spend time relaxing and exploring in the comforts of their foster home. Their favorite activites are, eating some yummy hay and lounging. FROM THEIR FOSTER: Since becoming husbun & wife, I’ve given Hazel & Callin the celebrity couple nickname of Moo Cow. 😍 Hazel and Callin are both pretty easy going buns and very low maintenance. They would prefer to be fed and left alone, although they will both tolerate being handled and having their nails clipped. Callin is most happy when he is sprawled out in his litter box and will even go on car rides with me as long as I have his litter box for him to sit in. Hazel is happiest when she is annoying Callin. 😉 I like to think of her as the classic needy girlfriend. Both are litter box trained, but when given free roam of the house, Callin will poop anywhere. They require a large housing enclosure so they have plenty of room to binky and a forever home that will allow them to free roam daily. They’re both well behaved when they free roam. Hazel and Callin are both very skittish from their lives as strays and would prefer a quiet home. BACKSTORY Callin was roaming the streets before a good samaritan alerted us, we rushed over and he let us catch him without any trouble! Meet Millie! Millie is a female mix rabbit that is approximately 4-5 years old. She is a fairly large girl.Crafty, sassy, and full of spunk, this girl is looking for her forever home! Millie can be pretty lazy and would be totally content being confined in her playpen forever. We can only imagine this is because she was probably in a small hanging wire pen in previous years. Millie can have an attitude, mostly with other rabbits. She doesn't trust them and that's understandable if she was only ever used as a breeder. This pampered princess doesn't want to be held and rarely pet, so if you are looking for a semi-boring, litter box trained rabbit, she's your girl! Millie will come running up to you expecting her daily treats. She will stretch out all cute trying to make herself as tall as possible. BACKSTORY We rescued Millie and 4 other rabbits (which we assume are her babies) when we received a call from Animal Control that there were rabbits dumped by the windmills in the hills. We went out to search, not expecting to find them. We found Millie running down the middle of the road, and we found the 4 young males at the dump site about a mile up the road from Millie. The temperatures that night were in the low twenties with several inches of snow. A sixth rabbit was found deceased. These rabbits wouldn't have survived more than a few days in the conditions. All of them were treated for earmites and two of the babies had respiratory infections. Millie is now spayed and all of her babies are neutered. Millie has excessive scarring on her body, which we believe is from repeated breeding or numerous animal attacks.
