***BONDED PAIR*** Meet our newest adoptable pair - Keith Richards and Mick Jagger ! They were found living in a basement in Gloucester in November and joined the SPR family a few weeks ago.  Keith and Mick are estimated to be about 6-7 months old. Don't tell them that they are half way through kitten hood as these babies are making up for lost time playing and enjoying themselves ! They LOVE toys - mice, balls, feathers, tunnels, you name it. They are almost identical except for different markings on their rear feet and a smidge difference in weights. Keith is the more outgoing of the pair and is all purrs and love all the time. Mick started out on the shy side and has made HUGE strides now that he is comfortable and is looking for pats and attention. Neither kitten has shown an ounce of aggression and are clearly relishing living the sweet life.  These little rock stars have been neutered & vetted and are ready to begin their new life. They are bonded so we will not separate them - they love and adore each other so much!!  These sweet boys are flourishing in their loving foster home. They are sweet and affectionate and so very gentle. They could be in a home wiith respectful young children as they are quite playful but also very gentle (they have not once scratched or bitten) but would get frightened if they were handled roughly.  Mick and Keith are fostered in Essex. Please let us know if you'd like to set up a time to meet them!   show less

Skunk Baxter gets his name from his beautiful black and white coat and his rock star past, not his smell! He’s a kind, shy guy with a lot of love to give once he comes out of his shell. He hasn't been shown a lot of love in his life, but give him a litte time to earn his trust and it will be worth it.  He’s the best big bro to his foster brother, a smidge of a fluffy kitten named Vernon. He is very kind and affectionate, while showing Vernon the ropes. A quiet home will help him flourish and bring out his sweet little personality.   Sweet Paws Rescue does not operate like a traditional animal shelter and there are multiple ways to adopt from us. The first is to commit to an adult cat that has not yet transported to Massachusetts - essentially, adopting a cat before meeting in person. Because we have a unique Foster2Adoptâ„¢ program for all of our adoptions, there is two week trial to insure you've made a love connection with your new cat.  The second way is to meet and then adopt one of our cats or kittens already in Massachusetts and living in one of our foster homes.  Regardless of what approach is best for you, the process always starts with submitting an application. More details on our adoption process are available on our website. Not quite ready to commit? Please consider opening your home to fostering one of our cats! If you live within driving distance to Newburyport or Groveland Massachusetts, we would love to talk with you. Details on fostering are also detailed on our website. Too many cats end up in shelters or back in rescue because their humans were not prepared for the commitment and responsibility of a cat. Before filling out an application, please evaluate your ability to care for a cat, financially and otherwise. Their life depends on it! show less
