Milo is a sweet boy with a handsome brindle coat and lots of love to give.  Milo is high energy and will do best in a home with another doggie to play with and/or a family who will engage him in plenty of daily exercise.  Fetch or tug-of-war anyone? A yard is an absolute must for Milo.  He is very affectionate and cuddly and you'll find him upside-down asking for belly rubs at any time during the day. As a bonus, he is terrific around other dogs and also cats, and would love to have either in his new home.  Milo adores kids and has lived with a toddler and done very well but his energy level is better suited to older kiddos.  He's eager to please, walks (or runs) well on leash and is completly house trained..  He is about  1  and a half years old and weighs around 50 lbs. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations and dewormer.  Adopters are responsible for keeping up on the booster vaccinations.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. show less

Hello, we are sadly in the position of needing to rehome our sweet dog, Tucker.  Tucker is a ~3.5 year old mix consisting (we believe) primarily of Blackmouth Cur, but possibly some Rhodesian Ridgeback and Greyhound.  When he was a puppy and first adopted from the humane society. They listed him as a Lab-mix, so we aren’t 100% certain. Tucker is an incredibly loyal, active, and smart dog.  He enjoys playing fetch but his favorite activities include camping, going for jogs, hiking, or running alongside you while mountain biking.  He has accomplished several 14ers and has been the best running buddy my wife and I could have asked for.  Tucker does exceptionally well in these circumstances and is leash-trained, but does fantastic off-leash as well— he heels well and sticks to your side along the trail.  Tucker is house trained, crate trained, and doggy-door trained and also knows a variety of basic commands (i.e. sit, flat, shake, stay, come, go get your ball, go to your bed, etc.).  Tucker also does well with other dogs and has frequented dog parks often.  Tucker is also current on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered. What we love most about Tucker is how loyal he is.  He is eager to please, affectionate, and mostly just wants to be near those who are ‘his people'.  Tucker is protective of us and wary of strangers and kids.  ucker has nipped a few people who have approached him first and startled him and is visibly uneasy around small children and babies.  Tucker will often growl or bark at strangers passing by in front of the house. We believe Tucker to be an incredible companion and will greatly miss him, but feel he needs a home with fewer interactions with strangers and kids.  In our opinion, Tucker would excel in a home free of small children and babies with minimal strangers as well.  Tucker is an active dog and will also do best with someone who will exercise him daily, whether that be a run, hike, fetch, etc. show less
