Please meet Alice, a beautiful 2-year-old, yellow/blonde Labrador Retriever Mix!  Alice weighs approximately 45lbs; she is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and will be undergoing heartworm treatment at the full expense of the rescue. Like so many other "unwanted" animals, Alice was cast aside by her previous owner once she "unknowingly" became pregnant under his care.  After the birth of her litter, Alice and two of her puppies were surrendered to a high kill shelter in Texas once the responsibility of "ownership" became too much of an inconvenience.  2BABR was all too happy to get all three of these gals to safety in Colorado to find them all homes whereby they will know love and stability for the rest of their days! Alice is very sweet but a bit shy when meeting new people (everything kind is new to her), but she is coming out of her shell and we are confident that with love and consistency, this diamond in the rough will absolutely shine once she understands that these wonderful changes in her life are permanent. If you are interested in meeting Alice or learning more about her, please do not delay in completing an application today! Hey there!! I'm Billy Madison! Ima dashingly handsome American Bulldog mix, I think I'm about 2 years old but your human years are WEIRD. Interested? I'm sure you are who wouldn't with a face like mine. Right now I'm something of a teacher's pet with the rescue and that's cool and all but I'm really looking for a family of my own and I truly think we're meant to be together, you and I!! I'd hate to toot my own horn BUT... I'm basically the best boy around town. Everyone says I'm a true ambassador of my breed and honestly I'd have to agree. I can be a firecracker, but most of the time I'm a calm, cool fella. My life was always as happy go lucky like me! When I was picked up I had an embedded collar so I do have a pretty awesome scar that makes me look way tougher than I am. I've really thrown my past to the wind and overall love people and want to be loved by them. There are few things better in this life than rolling in the grass and getting cuddled by my special someone. I get along really well with other dogs, but since I'm a bully Breed I can play really loud but I'm all barking no bite. I've had some training in my life and can sit and take treats very gently. I do quite well on the leash and could use a few leash manners, but who couldn't I right?! I hope you're interested in meeting me because I'm already interested in YOU and we have even met yet! So please apply I need a forever friend. BSL restrictions apply because I'm really picky and Denver and Aurora think they are too good for me, but I'm WAY too good for them.BSL Restrictions apply. *HOME OWNERSHIP REQUIRED!* Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming show less

Binkie, Brock, and Bristol-these are some of the sweetest and calmest puppies I have ever fostered. They are crate trained and almost completely house trained, if the door is open they will go outside themselves to potty, otherwise, they just need regular opportunities to go outside. They sleep through the night. They are great with other dogs, they play and wrestle and quickly follow it up with a nice long nap-preferably in your lap or next to you. They have met a dog savvy cat and there were no issues. They will need to put in a little weight but are eager to eat and treat motivated, which should make training easier. Great in the car, so they can be your outdoor adventure companions. Binkie is the quiet, reserved one of the pack...a true girlie girl! She is always up to play but likes to have a littermate or human with her as she tends to be timid on her own, especially outside. She tends to hang back during other dog introductions but hasn't met any she doesn't like. She is a great energy level as she will play for a bit but then be content to relax at your feet. Almost potty trained and using pee pads in a pinch! Sleeps through the night with no crate accidents and will put herself in there to take naps (unless you offer a more appealing couch alternative:)... Her frame looks like she will be a larger dog and she has a very, very sweet demeanor. Good with kids and cats. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming show less

MORE THAN JUST A PRETTY FACE!  Please meet Biscuit, a 2 year old Border Collie mix! Biscuit is a special pup looking for his perfect match!  Beautiful and majestic, this pup offers an abundance of love and loyalty to his new owner.  He has successfully lived with other dogs and older children.  HOWEVER, Biscuit does exhibit some behavior that manifests itself outside of "typical" herding breed behavior and should not be taken lightly by a novice owner.  It is important to note that Biscuit has been working with a trainer; the trainer believes these behaviors ARE manageable, given a firm and consistent commitment for training on behalf of Biscuit's new owner.  The incredible love and loyalty offered by this amazing companion, will ensure the extra effort necessary to make this relationship successful is well worth it in the end! Biscuit's loyalty to his chosen people can be both flattering and comforting.  However, it can also present an issue if Biscuit perceives any sort of benign interaction (visitors, mailman, other animals, etc.) as a threat.  Biscuit will often identfiy potential threats by barking and occasionally lunging; although it can appear aggressive, Biscuit is just doing what he ‘thinks’ he is supposed to do, by "protecting" his owners. Biscuit has exhibited prey drive synonymous with his breed and will not distinguish between small ‘pet’ animals and other, non-domesticated critters.  Therefore, Biscuit would do best in a single Pet within the home or, in some instances, a home with an owner experienced in the high energy of most herding breeds (and an inherent understanding of the needs associated therewith), with a proper intorductiono and harmonious response.  Daily exercise of the body and mind will be essential to maintaining harmony within the household.  An experienced dog owner whom can commit to daily exercise and consistent training to include a strict crate training regimen and on leash/attachment training when not crated is preferred until such a time as trust and obedience is achieved is preferred. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming show less

Hi everyone! My name is Boomer. I am a big boy at 80 lbs- but I am also the gentlest giant you’ll ever meet. I’m believed to be a black lab mixed with Great Dane. I came from Texas as a stray last year, and since being in Colorado, I’m really learning to love life out here in the mile-high city. For one, it snows here! And snow is my favorite. I’ll run around in it ALL day. Also, the mountains here are amazing! I love to camp and hike with my foster mom. I listen to commands and do super well outside in the wilderness. If you could ask the humans that know me one word to describe me, it would be... lover. I love to give love to everyone I meet. I’ve never met a stranger, and I even love small humans too! I show love with kisses, giving my paw, and rolling over for belly rubs (those are my favorite!) Here are a few things I would love in my furever home: A backyard I can play in! I love running around and playing with toys in the yard.  A house with no male dogs, small dogs, or cats. You see, I love female dogs so much, but I think I like being the canine man of the house. I would love a lady dog friend, though! Little dogs confuse my prey drive….and cats… well that’s a prey drive thing too. Don’t worry, if you have me out of the house on a leash, I listen to commands and act like the gentleman I am.  A big crate with a comfy bed in it. I love my kennel. I even run to it and lay down when my foster mom says “kennel up!” I feel comfortable in there and it makes me happy to lay in my crate and chew on a bone.  Someone to take me for walks. My foster mom has been working on my leash skills and she says I’m really getting the hang of “loose leash walking” If you bring me home, I promise never to go potty inside. I promise to always love you. I promise to be a good boy in my kennel. And I promise to jump off all 4 feet with excitement every day when you get home from work. (Also get this: I’m not a barker! Not even at the mailman…) Estimated DOB: 5/14/16 *This dog is approved to live in Denver, however; BSL restrictions may apply in other cities/counties as applicable. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming show less

This Boots is made for adopting And that's just what you'll do One of these days this Boots Is gonna walk on home with you Meet Boots, a gorgeous and sweet 7-year-old lab mix just arrived from Texas and ready to find his forever family here in beautiful Colorado!  Boots has very soulful eyes like he has something to say to you.  If he could talk, he’d probably ask you where you were going and what you were doing because he genuinely wants to be by your side participating in whatever you are doing.  He is very chill and relaxed and as such would make for the perfect family dog.  Boots has a warm personality, which will come in handy while snuggling on the couch during those chilly Colorado evenings.  Boots is good with smaller dogs, but gets nervous around larger dogs, so we wouldn't recommend a home with dogs of larger size.  He loves all people, including children.  Boots is preparing to complete heartworm treatment at the full expense of the rescue, and he will require monthly heartworm preventative for the remainder of his life (nominal cost)but don’t let this dissuade you from meeting this rescue treasure.  Please complete a brief online application to meet this wonderful guy and Boots can get to walkin on out of here and into his forever home with you. *HOME OWNERSHIP REQUIRED!* Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming show less

Brawny is a 10 month old Labrador Retriever mix that weighs approximately 38lbs.  This eager to please boy recently completed a 30-day board and train program and graduated with a phenomenal marks!  Brawny will make an amazing companion / geat family pet so long as his new caretaker(s) understand his need for slow introductions (especially to unfamiliar men) and isn't a fan of loud noises or sudden movements; HOWEVER, once properly introduced, he is friendly, affectionate, and excited to spend time with his favorite humans!  Brawny loves a good game of fetch at the park or a run with his buddy around the neighborhood.  Brawny is fully vaccinated, neutered, has been dewormed and is on monthly heartworm preventative. Hello, my name is Buster and I am a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as golden as my shiny coat.  I am desperately searching for my next best friend and hope it's YOU.  I was adopted as a young pup and really looked forward to meeting new people, going places, and interacting with other dogs. Unfortunately, my people just didn't give me the time and patience I needed to explore the world. Rather, they threw me quickly into unfamiliar situations that made me anxious and nervous. When I indicated that I was scared, they gave up on me and isolated me from the experiences I desperately needed. So here I am, 4 years old, and learning manners and socialization skills like those little puppies do. The good news is, I'm nailing it and am an excellent student! I am very quick to pick up on basic obedience and have already mastered several tricks. While I love to meet new people, I need a slow introduction to ensure I find them to be trustworthy and kind. Positive experiences and controlled repetition are boosting my confidence tremendously. I will thrive in a predictable, structured environment with adopters who understand my need for a little extra time.  I am desperate to please my favorite humans and have really improved my leash skills. I really enjoy my walks now that I am engaged with the person at the other end of the leash.  I am very treat motivated and also enjoy words of affirmation. Seriously, "Good Boy!" is like music to my ears!  All I ask is that you take the time to show me what you expect and then hold me to those expectations.  I crave structure and leadership and respond very well to both.  I would love for my new person to engage in training with me to continue what I’ve been learning and the rescue said they’ll introduce whoever adopts me to the trainer who has worked with me.  Please take a chance on me, I promise you a lifetime of loyalty and friendship.   Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration show less
