About Moose

Moose is a big lovable 2 yr old Great Dane. He listens and responds well to commands. He was immediately good with the female Great Dane he met but did growl at the younger lab mix who kept getting in his face. After Moose was able to sniff and get to the know the lab, they became best of friends and played really well together. Moose is pretty good on leash, could use some work, but not overly taxing. He is a good sized boy weighing 132 at the last appointment but still gaining some weight. He does have allergies. The allergies are kept under control with Apoquel, so the adopting family will need to understand he has a need for this medication which costs around $50 to $100 a month. There are other options for addressing the allergies, but at this time this works and we have not tried Zyrtec or steroids to help, we would recommend the adopting family meet with their vet to see what other options there are for him that could be less expensive.

Moose also likes water. If you take him to the beach, he will go in the water with you! He is a big lovable goofy boy who needs someone who is firm and consistent and will thrive with an active family. Moose is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Adoption Fee: $350

Dakota is a 6 yr old very sweet girl. She thinks she is a lap dog and will keep you laughing. Dakota does great with dogs, cats, chickens, kids, and people. She prefers you let her approach you first, but once she is comfortable with you, she will talk your ear off! She is a counter surfer. She can be left free roam in the house as long as she is not allowed in the kitchen. Our sweet girl has one small flaw, she is absolutely beyond terrified of the vet. She had to be sedated for blood draw and is not a fan of the vet's office. We did try an in home vet that could touch her and love on her, but as soon as any vet instruments came out, Dakota was scared and unruly. We do believe with positive reinforcement and trust, Dakota could be fine at the vet's office, she just needs someone who is willing to take her there often for visits and to get cookies from all her friends and be exposed to the vet instruments. Over time she would learn to trust them and not be so scared. Otherwise, she needs to be sedated for all vetting needs. Aside from the fear of the vet, Dakota will definitely make you smile, laugh, and love so hard that you just won't regret overlooking that one flaw to adopt her. Dakota is up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She is available for adoption and her adoption fee is $250. show less

Meet Gorgeous Gracie Mae! She is a 2 year old terrier mix. We do not know what she is mixed with but it sure is beautiful! Gracie came into rescue with her puppies and all of her puppies have found forever homes. But, poor Gorgeous Gracie is still looking for hers. She LOVES to snuggle and get affection. While she is amazing with kids, she also gets super protective of them. So, we think she would be best without young kids. Gracie needs a family that will be consistent and have clear boundaries. She is a great girl but boundaries teach her to wait and watch her people instead of guessing what she should do next. She is good with other dogs but can be reactive when first meeting. As soon as you correct her, she responds well. She does have interest in smaller animals, so another dog her size or bigger suits her better. Gracie loves to snuggle her foster brother and play with him. Gracie is also good off leash when taught her space boundaries. Gracie Mae just thrives with a calm family. She doesn't like to be forced to give attention (trust issues) but when she does trust you and love you, you cannot give her enough love. She just needs someone who can take a little time with her, show her she is safe, and teach her how to be confident. She responds so well with a calm assertive personality (meaning someone who is firm but calm and has patience). Most trainers have zero issues with her because they just have the prescense that Gracie appreciates. Give her a chance, you won't regret it. show less
