About ALEXI - local, in WA (Special Needs)

Adoption Fee: $300

I am Alexi. If you're in the Seattle / greater Seattle area, please keep reading! If you have a big heart and love cuddles, I could be the one for you!

I am a cute terrier mix and maybe Berger Picard (around 10kg and 3.5 years old) and if you take a look into my deep brown eyes and my large muppet ears, you might quickly fall in love. We are looking to keep me in the Seattle / North Seattle area, as I'm really bonded to my foster Mom, and would need a slow transition. Also, you could think of adopting me as possibly a part time share, my foster Mom would like to stay in my life, help out and dog sit, if that would be okay with you. Feel free to reach out for more information if you're truly interested, and you can chat with my current Mama. You can contact us through this rescue group or even send my foster Mom a message on my Instagram account - info below.

I was found by some kind people in an abandoned building, paralyzed in all four of my limbs. - Trust me, I'm a survivor!

The good news - I am now in a loving foster home, just North of Seattle, and have had an MRI. My c5-c6 is injured, which has caused paralysis in my four limbs. My foster mama has done a tremendous amount of work with me to make me stronger.  At this point I can not sit, stand or walk by myself and my bladder gets expressed about 4 times a day. I don't wear diapers, and I have a normal 2x daily bowel movement.

I'm one of the few paralyzed dogs that doesn't need to wear diapers! Since the time I've been in foster care, my whole body has become stronger. Six months after I arrived here, my back legs started to "wake up," it was amazing! I now go on daily walks / tows in my cart (see my videos, or check out my IG account).

Once my cart starts to get pulled in a forward motion, my rear legs follow (most days, though I do have stubborn days too). Currently I walk 1/4-1/2 a mile daily, sometimes more! I can't steer very well, because of my injury I tend to go left quite often. I move my front shoulders, but my front paws haven't woke up. My days consist of cart walks, park visits, exercises, cuddles and snoozing. Once I get my walk, I'm usually ready for cuddles and a nap. I LOVE to take naps with my human.

You may follow along my adventures here, which I now share with my foster sibling who was also rescued from this organization: https://www.instagram.com/rescuedgypsy/

People have started a go fund me page.  http://www.gofundme.com/help-alexi

I also now have an Amazon.com wish list of my very own! https://amzn.to/2I3kT9v

I always so excited to go outside, and enjoy the fresh air! Sometimes that is in my cart, or my special backpack. Every time my human comes to give me love I do the wiggles and sometimes I sing to her.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe this world is full of special people. I already found one of them and she's my foster mom. If dreams come true, my next special person is reading this right now and lives close to my foster family!

I'd love a family who has a nice doggy friend for me, and someone who is home often. I like to be around my humans, in the same room, and outside on adventures. My forever human should be physically fit and will continue my care.

If you live near me, my current Mama will go through my routines with you, including my favorite places to visit.

I live with two cats, sometimes I'm not bothered by them, but sometimes I growl and bark (can you blame me, I am part terrier). I'd prefer a home without small children, and any older children need to be kind, gentle and patient.

Once I know you, and you sit and give me treats for a couple of minutes I earn your trust. When I'm out on my walks in my cart, I very rarely bark, though I will do a high pitch happy bark when I see a dog that peeks my interest!

I would thrive to be in a home with another gentle and playful dog. Having another loving dog around really has helped my motivation and my happiness. I am also not neutered and need to stay that way. I need my hormones to help me get stronger.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe you are out there somewhere and when we find each other both our lives will grow bigger with love.

Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Gumdrop (Gandom) Breed: Whippet mix Age: 1-1/2 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 23 inches Energy level: moderate to high Relations: good with dogs / kids & cats unknown Highlights: Energetic, smart, sweet Region: Middle East Region: Middle East A person found me here in the Middle East and saw the bone of my back leg was sticking out from my muscle and it was bleeding a lot. This rescuing angel knew I was in great pain, because I was constantly screaming. She brought me to the doctor and had my leg operated on. Sadly, they could not entirely fix the damage and so my leg was cut off above the infection point to avoid the infection spreading to my body. So, here I am a tripaw... but I am alive. I tend to be a kind hearted girl to others, whether it is people or other dogs. https://youtu.be/9UXI_AhV0Zw. Not sure about cats, I have never been introduced to one yet. I am certainly friendly, but I would likely want to chase one. I love people so much, I am sure I would be fine with kids too. I enjoy playing and playing and playing some more. I do not seem to need rest, maybe I am the original Energizer bunny. Look at my cheery face, ready to brighten your day. https://youtu.be/O1Grad1JbrM. It is likely an apartment would not be the best situation. Probably the best home would be one that is quite active. Folks who are constantly up and about, going places and doing things. Gee, the dog park would provide us hours of fun things to do. Oh, I bet we could try many things. You will have to gauge how strenuous an activity I can do. But, I will want to try it all. Hiking in the forest, running on the beach, let's go. Oooh, I so want to be able to really run around, not be stuck in a shelter with limited area to run. Having a yard for my energy level is probably an important thing. If you had plenty of space, that would be soooo special, especially if you had a dog friend already there to play with. Please bring me to Canada soon, before I go stir crazy here. I could provide you with endless amusement.   I am spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Helium (Maloos) Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 1 yr Gender: m, neutered Wgt/Hgt: 8 lbs Energy level: average Relations: good with cats / unknown dogs & kids Highlights: bit shy, playful, disabled front paw Region: Middle East Ah, you are wondering about the name right? It's because, as you can watch in my main video, I can suddenly poof, vanish into thin air. Hahahaaaaaa. Nope, that bad paw doesn't slow me down at all. When I was found I had a broken leg and 2 broken bones in my paw. The vet said the nerves in my foot are cut off from the rest of my leg. So, in other words, I really can't feel it. I've learned to live fine this way though. See how mellow I can be just hanging around: https://youtu.be/d5fao54FZ3Q. All I need is a soft cushion to hang out on. I am good with other kitties too: https://youtu.be/7FZi0dnqu0M, though I haven't hung out with the canine persuasion yet. Nor have I been around children. I can be a bit shy, so probably better to stay in an adult household or a home with older kids who can understand not to spook me. I don't care for strangers trying to touch me either. Give me some time and once I get to know you, I will play with you and be more willing to be petted. And I can provide you with some serious antics to laugh at too. Like my disappearing acts. I'm sure once you have me around, you'll be going into high pitched laughter.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $150.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hiya. I am Hoya, a super-friendly and happy 2 year old Jindo mix from S.Korea. I come complete with a gorgeous brindle-coloured coat on my 35lb frame and I'm just the right height at 19 inches tall. Like many others here, I was a stray who was taken to the pound. I would not have lasted long there if I hadn't been spotted by a private rescue group and taken to safety. In January I was lucky enough to go to a special board and train facility where they help prepare rescue dogs for our future lives as part of a human family. Cool huh? Guess what? I quickly learned my basic manners and now I am helping socialize other dogs here. You could say I'm kind of an ambassador dog.  I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and I know how to read their signals. If they want to play with me, then I'm all for it; but if they'd prefer to be left alone I have no problem with that at all.  If you're looking for a companion for your current dog then I'd be a good pick.   Here I am with some other dogs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCDxCX_Rh3Y&list=PL3UlJJYID8eE_UBhXL_TmF5kNPDiWEovE&index=5 On the other hand, if I'm to be an only dog,  I would also be very happy because I adore people. It would be awesome to find a human who shared my enthusiasm for walks as well as one who would indulge my love of belly rubs. Whenever the leash appears I get pretty excited at the prospect of going out for a walk.  Does anyone out there feel the same way? This is my happy walk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpwL4wOtfIs&list=PL3UlJJYID8eE_UBhXL_TmF5kNPDiWEovE&index=8 And here I am greeting a child: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2YtG-xn_sA&list=PL3UlJJYID8eE_UBhXL_TmF5kNPDiWEovE&index=3 If you already have a cat and you're wondering if the two of us would get along, then I can tell you that although I am quite curious about felines, I don't feel any aggression toward them at all so I believe we could peacefull co-exist.  Meeting a cat:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP7BFy3gQAw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eE_UBhXL_TmF5kNPDiWEovE&index=6 Here's what I hope you remember about me before you scroll on to look at other dogs: I get along with everybody.   Remember my name: HOYA. I'll be waiting.     I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hellooo to my future family! My name is Jackie Brown, pleasure to meet you! I’m a 1 year old shepherd saluki mix from Bahrain. I’m an adorable cutie pie and weigh about 35 pounds (perfectly medium, if I do say so myself). Aren’t I a pretty girl? Word on the street is that I’m a total sweetheart too! My rescuers describe me as playful, happy, and easy-going. My past is a bit of a mystery; all I know is that I was rescued off the streets as a wee puppy and have been living at Bahrain Animal Rescue Centre (BARC) ever since. My rescuers have taken such good care of me my whole life… but it’s been a whole year now and all I want is to have a family and a home to call my very own! Growing up surrounded by other dogs at the shelter has made me into quite a sociable pup. Check out the pic of me hangin’ out with my bestie, Dani. We get along great and love to play wrestle and run zoomies together. I’m good with other dogs and I love humans, although I can be shy upon first introductions. I can assure you that I will warm up speedy quick after I realize that you are trustworthy. Throw in a couple of treats and we truly will be best buds (did I mention I love treats? Heheh) I long for a home of my own. I’d love to experience the luxury of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed. I’ve heard soooo many good things about the beautiful Pacific North West… I can guarantee that I’ll LOVE going for hikes and walks! I’m still a young and youthful dog, so I have a moderate amount of energy. After a daily walk and maybe a trip to the dog park, I will gladly spend the afternoon snoozing. Do you think you could be my furever family? I’d really like to find them soon! I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hi there, Jagger here, so named because of my wide, handsome smile and tail-waving swagger.   I am a Jindo mix from S.Korea, five years young, 43 pounds and 21 inches tall.  Not so long ago I lived in a home with someone who I thought cared about me. But when I was hit by a car and broke my hip my owner did nothing to help me, even though I was in a great deal of pain. Thankfully a neighbour contacted KAWA , the largest animal rights organization in Korea, and they encouraged my owner to surrender me into their care.  I underwent emergency surgery to repair my hip, followed by physiotherapy and I am now back to my old self - running and playing like before. Check out my puppy-like play bow behaviour when I meet another dog.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4tSMYscbt0&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHU9O2i0buh8aWo2fZD6MyQ&index=4 If you adopt me you will be pleased to know that I have attended the Welcome Paws Academy and graduated with flying colours. This is a board and train facility which prepares dogs for new lives in future homes. You can see how good I am at socializing with just about everyone I meet. I'm very gentle with children and enjoy being petted by strangers. (Though I am not comfortable if they try to hug me.) In fact I will happily approach every stranger I meet to politely say hello. You can just about guarantee that you'll be meeting lots of new people when I'm by your side ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa7h1XpWcjc&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHU9O2i0buh8aWo2fZD6MyQ&index=1 Basically I am the kind of dog who likes to make friends with everybody, be they dog, cat or human.  Sadly the cats I have been introduced to don't seem too interested in befriending me, but that's their choice and I respect that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n26gcGPLygU&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHU9O2i0buh8aWo2fZD6MyQ&index=3 In terms of energy level I would say I am about average. If you want to go for a long hike, then count me in. A brisk walk around the block? I'll be there.  Whatever you're doing is what I want to do too. Because being with you is what makes me happiest. I would love to make you happy too. Will you let me try?   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $500 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hey there, my name is Jammy and I can't wait to meet you. I am a 7 month-old Husky/Jindo mix from South Korea weighing in at 24lb and 19 inches tall. I was born at one of the notorious dog meat farms in Pyoungtaek.  Thankfully, I was rescued by KAWA, the biggest animal rights organization in Korea, with my five other siblings and my momma.  We were all in pretty bad shape at the time of our rescue. (As you can imagine, our welfare is not important since the plan is to slaughter us for meat.) In fact, every one of us was found to have parvovirus and our lives were at risk. Sadly, despite immediate veterinary treatment, our mom didn't make it, but the rest of us came through the other side and are all 100% healthy and ready to find out what life has to offer. My brothers Dodger, Dilbert and I are hopeful that we'll find homes in B.C or Washington. They sound like such great places for a dog to live. I am best described as initially cautious, but very sweet.  Meeting new people can be a little intimidating for me at first so I like to take my time. However, if you have a yummy treat in your hand I must confess that I am easily won over. I do like my 'yum-yums', as they call them here. Children are interesting little people who are nice to be around, especially when they offer me yum-yums: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLn0C_M3CRM&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFtT4qvVIAuUQSDZUFo9-Xw&index=4 When meeting other dogs I am polite and curious, especially with those that are smaller than me. With bigger dogs I am much happier around the calm types, those more like myself; the hyper ones make me nervous and uncomfortable. My life hasn't really allowed for much playtime with other dogs until now, so I think it's something I will grow into as I gain experience. Maybe you and I can meet some of your friends dogs together and I can discover the joy of doggy-play. They introduced me to some cats here at the shelter. I was curious but completely without aggression so I would probably be fine to share a home with a feline friend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XM76mBgAxY&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFtT4qvVIAuUQSDZUFo9-Xw&index=7 In terms of my energy level, so far I seem to be more on the calm, low to moderate end of the spectrum; at least when compared to other dogs of my age. But that may just be because, until now, I haven't had much opportunity to be playful and active. I am trying to imagine what my life will be like when someone adopts me. Will I get to sleep in a special bed? Will you talk to me like you love me? And spend our days together as best friends? It's just too beautiful to contemplate.   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $600 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. JAZZY (Jenny) Breed: German Shepherd/Canaan Dog Mix Age: 1-1/2 years old Wgt/Hgt: 39 lbs / TBA Relations: good with dogs, kids (see policy)/ not good with cats Activity level: Moderate Highlights: Very friendly, sweet, intelligent Region: West Bank Ready to get all jazzed up with a new pup by your side? My super friendly nature should make us the hit of the doggyhood. Over here in the West Bank, I come with a sad story. The first family that adopted me found that I was a little too playful for their cats. When I was adopted again to a great family with 2 kids, it felt like home. Unfortunately, ends up someone in that family was allergic to me. So I was taken back to the shelter and have had little human contact since then. I miss my family and love being around people, https://youtu.be/RkZJL8rZ3uI. I like being a social girl, so being at the shelter is difficult. It would be amazing to find a Canadian family to call my own, to play with me, and teach me new tricks. Being sweet, friendly, and very playful is something I am known for. I am the first dog to greet everyone and I play well with my dog friends at the shelter, so another doggy friend in your home is A-ok by me. The best home for me would be without smaller animals though, as I play a little too rough. An ideal home would be with a family or even a single person looking for a best friend, https://youtu.be/CQpYA70JCB4. My energy is pretty average for a dog of my breed. I know basic commands, but would love someone to teach me more commands and skills. But most of all, I want to just be near you. I'm excited about my new adventure in Canada! I've been waiting too long. I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Julius is my name, in case you were wondering.  When I was found as a stray and brought here to the shelter they made a mistake and named me Julia. They've been calling me that ever since! Between you and me, I really don't care what name I'm called, just so long as I get some attention.  I am a two year old Norfolk terrier mix, and I weigh in at a chunky 28lb, even though I'm only 14 inches tall. I like to think to say I'm very grounded because I have a low centre of gravity - hee hee. Once I have a good bath and a haircut I'm going to look pretty smashing; you have to admit my apricot and white coat is dandy. Maybe I'll even be able to shed a few pounds once you start taking me for walks. This is the kind of place where it's not easy to get much time with humans. Dogs, on the other hand are everywhere. There's hundreds of us! So it's important that you get along with everyone and I'm pretty good at that. Mostly I make a beeline for any human that happens to be in the vicinity because people are my favourite beings.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJGJEz19xBY&feature=youtu.be If this shelter had 300 people in it instead of 300 dogs, I'd be as happy as a clam!  If you're looking for a calm, lower energy dog to be your companion, then you've just stumbled on the perfect match - me! Kachi Breed: German Shepard/German Pinscher Age: 1 yr Gender: fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 53 lbs / 27-1/2 inches Energy level: moderate Relations: good with dogs, kids / no cats Highlights: Gentle natured, food oriented, superb temperament, permanent slight limp   Region: Middle East Hello Canada My name is Kachi. I am a sweet face with a stellar personality to match. If you like what you hear, then you'll love my little eyebrows, they really sell my soft nature. I am a lovely lady. It’s bit hard to pinpoint what my breed is, but given my looks and my size, its a good guess that I am a shepherd mix of some sort. Before becoming a rescue, I was living as a street dog in the middle east. Not much is known about my past before being found other than at some point I was a mom to quite a lot of puppies by the looks of it.  Lets rewind to a week before I was rescued. I was spotted in the side alley of a motel in a very sorry state. My fur was patchy and balding, my skin was itchy and worse my front paw had been badly hurt causing me to limp. My rescuer wanted to save me then and there but unfortunately had to wait as they didn't have the equipment to take me in just yet.  A week later they found me again in awful circumstances. Locating me by listening to the sound of my cries, there I was tied up with two men setting my tail on fire and laughing at my pain. My saviour got out yelling and managed to scare them off and take me to get the care I so badly needed. It wasn't long after being taken in that I began to bounce back, but living on the streets had taken its toll. Later it was found out my paw had been run over by a car. Due to the damage it caused there wasn't a point getting surgery as chances of recovery was slim. In addition to that, my teeth are damaged due to a poor diet and lack of vitamins, but I have no problem eating. Though I have a few ailments that linger from my past, they don't hold me back or affect me much and am pain free. Back before I had my beautiful black coat I use to have patchy fur. This is how I got my name “Kachi" which is short for “Kachal" meaning bald. As you can see now that isn't true anymore thanks to the loving care of my rescuer. As of now I am a very happy, healthy and playful dog who is full of life and ready to spend it with a loving family.  With all that stuff out of the way, lets get into the best part so I can show you what kind of dog I am. If lovable and sweet and sugar could be made into a dog it would be me! Even given my past experiences, I am a very kind and appreciative dog which you can see in my bright eyes. I can’t let the past hold me back when there is so much fun to be had! Don't underestimate me just by my one paw, because you can be sure that I will play just like any other dog. I just keep my one paw up and go for it. Speaking of other dogs, there is nothing better than having a buddy to play with. Having a good wrestle is always a good way to spend the day. My first favourite love before my dog pals would be food. If you need me to do something, I will be happy to take a food bribe. Soft plushy toys are super fun for me. My rescue noticed I like the ‘angry bird’ toys what ever those are.  Besides being good with other dogs https://youtu.be/TGV_Lj_OI0c, I am great with kids too. https://youtu.be/6-O9G0bYt74. I am a gentle soul which truly comes out when I am being loved by my people. Though I am great with kids, my rescuer says I am sensitive to cats and bark at them. Who needs cats anyways when dogs are so much more fun anyways. My ideal home would be one with an amazing family who can give me all plushie toys my heart desires, a backyard wouldn't hurt either ;). Having an extra dog pal would definitely be great, but I would be happy with frequent puppy playdates. Because of my kind, loving nature I would be a great dog for a family. When it comes down to it all, I would really love to find people that will take me in and make me a part of their family. I have had a rocky road and now I am finally ready to hit smoother paths and find the love I deserve. I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.  My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. Kahlua (Pony) Breed: Bulgarian Shepard/Greyhound Age: 7 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 60 lbs/ 27 inches Energy level: low to moderate Relations: good with most dogs, males not so much / unknown kids and cats Highlights: tripaw, calm, friendly, independent, quiet, intelligent Region: Middle East Hello dear Canadian peoples. Given my best guess breed, that makes me a medium-large girl. Hey, more of me to love, I can sit in two laps at once. I have spent my life so far here in a shelter. I really want to know what it is to have a loving home. I was found by some trash cans with an infected leg when I was 2 years old. Another dog had seriously bit me, while I was just trying to find a meal. Food is often scarce, so it is a struggle here in the Middle East to survive. The place where I hung out was very dirty. It caused an infection, which fortunately did not result in the loss of my leg. That infection was cured with medication, however I had an old break that showed up on the xrays. It did not require surgery, but it has caused me to permanently hold up that leg, as it is rigid. This has created some nerve dysfunction between my knee down to my toes, but it doesn't stop me from moving about. I tend to be calm and friendly. I have with an independent and quiet nature. I display no aggression toward humans. For the most part, I have a good relationship with most other dogs, but I do have issues with male dogs. It must have been a big boy dog that bit me to make me feel this way. I have never been around a cat. It is not unusual to see me off by myself. I enjoy my personal space at times. Don't get me wrong, I am nice and kind, I just need relaxed space occasionally. Due to my intelligence and independence, a training class after I have settled in a while might be a good thing for both of us. A semi to lower activity home is probably best. I do like to get out though. Walking is something I enjoy doing, as is just resting, taking in the sights and sounds of my environment. I guess you could say I am observant of what goes on around me. My ideal family will be those who like to get out on leisurely walks and also hang out around home working in the garden and such, where I can just lay down and watch. Or maybe reading or watching TV, so I can snuggle against you and chill out. I hope you will consider applying for me. I really want a real home.   I am spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $400.00, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Look out world, Katya is here!  Have you been waiting for an adorable jindo mix girl to add a grin to your face and a spring to your step? Well, here I am. I am 3 years old, weigh 29lb and measure 19 inches to my shoulders.  My life didn't start out so good. I was being raised for meat consumption. The person who owned me was planning to sell me at the meat market and was dragging me there when a good samaritan spotted us. She decided to save my life so she offered to buy me from the man and he accepted. Pretty soon afterwards she found me an adopter. The usual contract was made which included a promise to have me spayed. However, the adopter avoided responding to questions about my well being so one day my rescuer showed up to see how I was doing. It turned out the adopter had broken the contract by not getting me spayed and allowed me to have a litter of puppies.  My rescuer took me away from there.  This was before she took me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8a0Y5_GsNk&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsmS4as9Zr4-bbnGrFYWkt&index=8 Now I am safe with a reliable rescue group who are caring for me until I find a home with you. I am the kind of dog who is friendly with anyone who approaches. I love attention and belly rubs, so I hope you are good at that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-58t_i2_FvM&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsmS4as9Zr4-bbnGrFYWkt&index=3&t=0s When it comes to other dogs, I am slightly timid around big ones, but love to play with those that are a similar size or smaller than me.  Cats tend to get me a little over-excited so I probably should live in a cat-free home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n54QjLO3Ugs&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsmS4as9Zr4-bbnGrFYWkt&index=3 I really enjoy going for walks and spending time outdoors. You may find I pull on the leash a bit in my enthusiasm, so I hope you'll help me work on that.  Speaking of enthusiasm, you'll notice that I really love my food and I gobble it down way too fast. I know that's rude, but on the other hand it means I'll be easily treat-motivated if you want to teach me some new skills or behaviours. So now you know about me. I think it's time we started planning our life together, don't you?   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada.
