About ALEXI - local, in WA (Special Needs)

Adoption Fee: $300

I am Alexi. If you're in the Seattle / greater Seattle area, please keep reading! If you have a big heart and love cuddles, I could be the one for you!

I am a cute terrier mix and maybe Berger Picard (around 10kg and 3.5 years old) and if you take a look into my deep brown eyes and my large muppet ears, you might quickly fall in love. We are looking to keep me in the Seattle / North Seattle area, as I'm really bonded to my foster Mom, and would need a slow transition. Also, you could think of adopting me as possibly a part time share, my foster Mom would like to stay in my life, help out and dog sit, if that would be okay with you. Feel free to reach out for more information if you're truly interested, and you can chat with my current Mama. You can contact us through this rescue group or even send my foster Mom a message on my Instagram account - info below.

I was found by some kind people in an abandoned building, paralyzed in all four of my limbs. - Trust me, I'm a survivor!

The good news - I am now in a loving foster home, just North of Seattle, and have had an MRI. My c5-c6 is injured, which has caused paralysis in my four limbs. My foster mama has done a tremendous amount of work with me to make me stronger.  At this point I can not sit, stand or walk by myself and my bladder gets expressed about 4 times a day. I don't wear diapers, and I have a normal 2x daily bowel movement.

I'm one of the few paralyzed dogs that doesn't need to wear diapers! Since the time I've been in foster care, my whole body has become stronger. Six months after I arrived here, my back legs started to "wake up," it was amazing! I now go on daily walks / tows in my cart (see my videos, or check out my IG account).

Once my cart starts to get pulled in a forward motion, my rear legs follow (most days, though I do have stubborn days too). Currently I walk 1/4-1/2 a mile daily, sometimes more! I can't steer very well, because of my injury I tend to go left quite often. I move my front shoulders, but my front paws haven't woke up. My days consist of cart walks, park visits, exercises, cuddles and snoozing. Once I get my walk, I'm usually ready for cuddles and a nap. I LOVE to take naps with my human.

You may follow along my adventures here, which I now share with my foster sibling who was also rescued from this organization: https://www.instagram.com/rescuedgypsy/

People have started a go fund me page.  http://www.gofundme.com/help-alexi

I also now have an Amazon.com wish list of my very own! https://amzn.to/2I3kT9v

I always so excited to go outside, and enjoy the fresh air! Sometimes that is in my cart, or my special backpack. Every time my human comes to give me love I do the wiggles and sometimes I sing to her.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe this world is full of special people. I already found one of them and she's my foster mom. If dreams come true, my next special person is reading this right now and lives close to my foster family!

I'd love a family who has a nice doggy friend for me, and someone who is home often. I like to be around my humans, in the same room, and outside on adventures. My forever human should be physically fit and will continue my care.

If you live near me, my current Mama will go through my routines with you, including my favorite places to visit.

I live with two cats, sometimes I'm not bothered by them, but sometimes I growl and bark (can you blame me, I am part terrier). I'd prefer a home without small children, and any older children need to be kind, gentle and patient.

Once I know you, and you sit and give me treats for a couple of minutes I earn your trust. When I'm out on my walks in my cart, I very rarely bark, though I will do a high pitch happy bark when I see a dog that peeks my interest!

I would thrive to be in a home with another gentle and playful dog. Having another loving dog around really has helped my motivation and my happiness. I am also not neutered and need to stay that way. I need my hormones to help me get stronger.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe you are out there somewhere and when we find each other both our lives will grow bigger with love.

Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   My name is Magic and I hope that you will be spellbound the instant you see my photo. Did it work? Oooh, please say I've worked my magic on you. I am a 9 month old Jindo/Husky mix, currently weighing 29lb and measuring 19 inches to my shoulders. I was born at one of the notorious dog meat farms in Pyoungtaek.  Thankfully, I was rescued by KAWA, the biggest animal rights organization in Korea, with my five other siblings and my momma.  We were all in pretty bad shape at the time of our rescue. (As you can imagine, our welfare is not important since the plan is to slaughter us for meat.) In fact, every one of us was found to have parvovirus and our lives were at risk. Sadly, despite immediate veterinary treatment, our mom didn't make it, but the rest of us came through the other side and are all 100% healthy and ready to find out what life has to offer. My brothers Dodger, Dilbert, Jammy and I are hopeful that we'll find homes in B.C or Washington. You don't have dog meat farms there, do you? Considering I don't exactly have a lot of world experience, I'm a pretty calm dude.  Strangers can approach me and touch me without much worry on my part. Hey, give me a treat or two and I'll let you pet me all day if you want! I gotta say I am at my most chill when the stanger happens to be a kid or a woman, but I soon get comfortable with guys too.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA_Dv-Ph-oY&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu-5DqPBXRM&list=PL3UlJJYID8eH1MNTP7isfU0fGhm93Pz40&index=1 If you're wondering how I get along with other dogs, then I can assure you I am comfortable and friendly with them. Check out my video's to see for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_jjtjJznns&list=PL3UlJJYID8eH1MNTP7isfU0fGhm93Pz40&index=5&t=0s Cats don't interest me at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkM4eGlHyak&list=PL3UlJJYID8eH1MNTP7isfU0fGhm93Pz40&index=5 Although I may be a little timid when first introduced to a new environment, all I need is a little time, plus some reassurance from my person and I'll be just fine. As I gain confidence you'll discover I am a curious boy who loves to explore the world with my nose and enjoys going out for walks and playing with dog friends. I know there's a wonderful world out there and I would love to be the one you pick to share it with.   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $600 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hello from South Korea. I am Mango, a 2 year old female Jindo mix with a nature as sweet as my namesake fruit.  I weigh almost 29lb and am 23 inches tall. When I was found as a stray on the streets of Hwaseong City I was taken the the pound. Shortly after my arrival there it was decided that the pound would be shut down and those dogs that weren't adopted by a certain date would be euthanized. At the last minute a volunteer saved me from that fate and I am now safe in a private shelter until I find my forever home.  As is typical of many Jindo's I have a very trusting nature. I'll gladly roll over on my back and present my lovely belly to complete strangers. I'll stand calmly while children pat me and stroke me all they want and wouldn't dream of walking away until they've had their fill. You have to be patient with little people I find!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVidyMkfJiw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHfqPs1_T9kQ9uzIDr1U6tD&index=6 Look how I meet this strange man with a hood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8lf5DcD9y0&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHfqPs1_T9kQ9uzIDr1U6tD&index=4 I also have good manners with my interactions with other dogs. I greet them very nicely and let them show me if they are interested in play before I make assumptions. It's the best way to make friends and it's why I get along with dogs of just about any size.   Much as I enjoy playing with dogs I would probably describe myself as a dog of more moderate energy. I'm great on the leash; don't pull at all and I would really enjoy going for regular walks with my own special person. If you live with a cat, I would be respectful of him or her. Though I tend to be curious at first, I'll soon mind my own business if your cat prefers that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTKtUz22UR4&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHfqPs1_T9kQ9uzIDr1U6tD&index=2 When I first come to live with you I might be a little spooked by loud noises, but other than that I will probably settle in very well. Especially if you like giving belly rubs! Me and my lovely belly will be right here waiting for you to send for us.........   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Marble (Maya) Breed: Shepard mix Age: 3 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Weight/Height: 66 lbs/ 27-1/2 inches Activity level: Low to Moderate Relations: good with dogs / no cats / kids unknown, but likely fine Highlights: kind, loves all people, tripaw Region: Middle East Greetings. I am a very sweet, not so commonly seen brindle Shepard mix. Don't you just love my coat color? I was rescued from a government truck in the Middle East that was taking me to be killed by acid injection, a severely painful way to die. I get along with every human I see. I am fine with other dogs too. I really don't like those meowy things though and get kind of mean with them. Never been around children yet. But, as I seem to love every person I see, if the kids gave me attention, I'd probably be happy with them too. Just understand, I haven't been tested around them.  The rescuer is having me re-evaluated at the vet to see if they should amputate further up my leg, as I dip down bending my other leg a lot wanting to use the short leg https://youtu.be/WcJ-t3Koot4. A prosthesis might be of great benefit helping me though, if I could keep the leg.  Since I am past puppy stage, probably a mellow home that is low to moderately low in activity would suit me. I enjoy just hanging out, getting loved on and smelling the roses while out on walks, so to speak. I sure hope I can get to Canada or the US soon. A shelter is no place for a lovely girl like me. Are you ready for compliments galore from people who see my gorgeous beauty? That's probably what you are going to hear.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $450.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hi there, my name is Marilyn. I'm a 13lb chihuahua mix, around 2 years of age and 12 inches tall and I am dying to meet you in person. Right now I am living in a foster home after being dumped, along with my litter of puppies outside the gates of the Shanghai shelter.  Whether it was the shock of being in such a noisy, crowded place, or being separated from my puppies, I don't know, but the fact is I spent all day, every day crying in that shelter.  The shelter manager couldn't stand it any longer so she brought me back to her house. It's hard for me to count all the foster dogs she has here, but I don't mind, because I am way happier in this place than I was at the shelter.  I don't cry any more and in fact I often feel quite happy.  My happiest moments are when I get cuddles from my foster mom or one of the other humans here. I love it when people show me affection and I can give lots of it back in return, so I hope you're prepared! Hanging out with the other dogs is very pleasant because we've all become friends. I could easily share my future home with another dog if you have one already. Since I arrived here I seem to have a little extra cushioning around my middle, so I could probably use your help to lose a couple of pounds and get my svelte figure back. I don't have a chance to go out for walks (there are too many of us for that) so once you and I start doing that each day, I'm sure I'll get back in shape in no time! Check out how cute I look in my snug little jacket. I'm hoping it will make me so irresistible that you'll rush to fill out my adoption application right away!   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Marmalade (Babri) Breed: Spitz (Eurasier)/Golden Retriever Age: 2 yrs Gender: M, neutered Wgt/hgt: 44 lbs/ 21-3/4 inches Activity level: average Relations: good with dogs/ kids likely/ unknown cats Highlights: Tripaw, friendly, loves human company, listens well Looking for a super friendly dog? Then, I'm your guy. My coat is a beautiful marmalade color and I am sweet as marmalade too. I was found badly injured by a road in the Middle East. My leg had been broken and healed improperly, so I needed that leg amputated. I am now part of that elite group of the dog tag carrying tripaw club. Don't let it worry you too much, I have learned to get around despite my handicap. I am super kind and I like other dogs and people too. I am quite polite with kids, though I don't have a video to prove it. I've not been around those purrball machines, so not sure what my reactions to them would be. If I had a home where I could hang with humans all day long, I would be in doggie heaven. I like to play like any pup, but it is nice to just chill at times too. I listen well to what you tell me... well, I am going to need to learn English to understand what you are wanting from me first. You wouldn't happen to be bilingual, would you? No matter, I am smart enough to learn commands in another language, if you will have patience and give me the time to settle and figure it out. I hear Canada has some superb beaches and trails and even something called a dog park. A park for us dogs? Whoa! Pretty amazing. Nothing even close to that here. Can't wait to run around one of those. All you gotta do is submit an application and I could be on my way to stick myself to your heart. Get it? Marmalade, sticky jelly like substance... aaah, you are giggling, aren't you? Like a bowl of hahaaa, yup you got it. I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hi, I am so happy to have this chance at finding my person. Could it be you?  My name is Meg and I am a 2 year old terrier mix from South Korea, weighing in at 24lb and measuring 18 inches to my shoulders.  When I was first spotted I was living on the streets of Jeju island and dodging cars on a daily basis. Several times the people who spotted me thought for sure I was going to be run over. Finally someone managed to catch me and brought me to her home thinking she'd be able to track down my owner. But I wasn't microchipped and had no other identification so it was impossible. By this time I was not only malnourished and weak, but I was also pregnant. Shortly after being rescued in August 2019 I gave birth to a litter of 6 puppies.  I proved to be a devoted mother as you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ynhr2nLULyg&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHWfqTpINx3HTrfILqnypO8&index=9 For the next 7 months my rescuer fostered me and I happily shared the home with her dog and a cat, so you can feel confident that I could move right in with your current pets if you pick me.  Here I am at my foster home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SukCcNEtca8&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHWfqTpINx3HTrfILqnypO8&index=8 Now that I have been at this rescue facility for a little while they have been able to assess my personality in preparation for my adoption. So let me tell you about my character. Overall, I am a calm dog. I can be a little shy around strangers initially, but will soon allow people to pet me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pU0G2nRnXU&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHWfqTpINx3HTrfILqnypO8&index=2&t=0s Here I am meeting a child: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm5ueZWL93o&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHWfqTpINx3HTrfILqnypO8&index=2  I would be fine living with older children who would be gentle and patient with me. While I certainly enjoy going for walks and taking note of all the interesting scents along the way, I'm not a high energy kind of dog and would be quite satisfied with a couple of moderate daily walks. If you're looking for a fairly easy dog to introduce to your life; a sweet, quiet girl who would really love to be your special one, then please don't look any further. We are just right for each other.   I am spayed, vaccinate and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hi, sweet humans! I’m Milli and I’m searching for a forever home. Who am I? Well, I’m an adorable 3 year old mixed-lab pooch from Bahrain. I weigh a petite 44 pounds and stand 23 inches tall. My rescuers say that I am lovely and gentle. Bonus: I’m dog and cat friendly! Yup, you heard me correctly… bring on the furry friends! My story is a bit unknown. All my rescuers know is that I was a stray on the streets of Bahrain. They took me in when I was just a little pup and thank goodness they did! They have kept me safe and sound at the shelter ever since. It has been a few years now though and I reallyyyyy wish I had a home and a human to call my own. Check out my videos of me being friendly with kitty cats (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzmMAvbhKl4&feature=youtu.be). Yup, I’m cool as a cucumber around cats! You can see that I wag my tail around both dogs and cats (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYthIMXGXtI&feature=youtu.be). See? I’m a good girl and super friendly. What I REALLY love is humans though. Give me a nice ear scratch and a belly rub and I will literally become your BFF (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L11DKRZF00&feature=youtu.be). Ooooh I'm also pretty darn good on a leash (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5cojkIcFi0&feature=youtu.be), okay... maybe I still have a bit of room for improvement (he he he). If you’re looking for a four-legged companion to love you endlessly, look no further! I am a moderately active, chill doggy who has a LOT of love to give (and deserves even more love in return!)  I am spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. My adoption fee of $500 includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website,  http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/  and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.    Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. MILTON - pending adoption

Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   My name is Milton and I just want to go home.  It is pretty scary living here in this loud and crowded shelter in Shanghai city, especially when you're just a little chap like me. I am only 12lb and I'm short too - just about 12 inches - so it's easy to miss me among all the other dogs, but please don't do that: I want you to notice me. At just a year and a half I find myself wondering what kind of life lies ahead of me and hoping with all my heart that it includes someone to love. Since being dumped on the streets like a piece of trash and then winding up here, I have lost all my confidence. I need someone like you to help me know what it's like to feel valued.  I'm hoping you'll notice my sweet face, pointy ears and quiet presence and think to yourself what a perfect companion I would make for you.   What else makes me right for you, you ask? Well, I am not a high-maintenance kind of dog; no fancy grooming or high exercise needs.  I would be thrilled just to go for a walk with you and then cuddle up on your lap or a soft warm spot nearby.  I can easily share your home with cats or another dog, because after living here, just one or two other animals would feel like heaven.  But if I was the only one for you to love, then I gotta say, I wouldn't mind that at all.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jRmOh0R7-A&feature=youtu.be I wonder if it's possible to get too much adoration. Can we try it?      I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Three times unlucky, that's me. Three times I found an adopter over there in Canada and each time it has fallen through. Why, oh why can't I find someone to bring me home? I get that I don't have the appeal of a puppy or the looks of a Golden Retriever, but I have a ton of love in this compact little body of mine, and more personality than you could shake a stick at (hey, don't just shake that stick, let's play tug-o-war with it).  My name is Moe, I am around 3 years of age and resemble a jack russel/beagle mix. I weigh 26lb and am 16 inches to my shoulders. My previous owners tossed me out on the streets when they grew tired of me. I know - awful isn't it, but it happens all the time around here. Since then I've been living in this very crowded shelter in Shanghai and I have to admit, much as I enjoy the company of other dogs, this is ridiculous! There are just too many of us here and we all agree we could use a lot less doggyness and a lot more people-time.  All I need is one special person to really 'see' me. I know you're out there.  Check out my 'standing upright' move and maybe you'll realise I am the kind of dog who would be willing to master any trick you care to teach me, as long as it gets your attention and pleases you.   Human affection is something I can never get enough of:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MU6SXCMLjg&feature=youtu.be I dream of trotting happily alongside you on our daily walks; snoozing with my head on your lap as you watch t.v., comforting you with my steadfast love.  If you adopt me I promise I will never be cross with you or ignore you or take you for granted. You can do all those things to me, but I will love you to the end of my days. Because that's what dogs do.  Please make me yours and let me love you for ever.     I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $500 CAD includes my airfare to Canada.   **Vaccinations: Dogs from China are vaccinated for rabies, distemper, parainfluenza, hepatitis, parvovirus. MONA - pending adoption

Maltese

Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Helloooooo, anybody out there? Are you looking for me? Tell me you've been waiting for a sweet 2-year-old, 13lb combo of Maltese and Yorkie (that's a Morkie, don't you know) who goes by the name of Mona.  I am very glad you found me.  It's getting awfully old being at this crowded shelter here in Shanghai and I'd really like to get on with my proper life; the one where you and I get to spend tons of time together and I get lots of cuddles.  When the city workers found me outside on the streets I was cold and hungry. Even though it's a terrifying experience to be scooped up and whisked off to an unknown destination, it was better than being left to starve.  Now that I'm living at the shelter I have regular meals and a roof over my head, but I really don't get much human attention. It was quite a treat to get some cuddles by the shelter manager when they made my video. I would thrive in a home where I could have that kind of affection every day.  The other dogs around here are cool; some of the smaller ones have become my buddies; but to tell the truth, it's a bit too crowded and I'm more than ready to move on.  I got to enjoy a rare bit of peace and quiet when they brought me to the laundry room to take a video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP_T9ADWHSU&feature=youtu.be Then they put a cat in here with me. I didn't mind that at all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfC87H4e548&feature=youtu.be You know, it wouldn't take much on your part to change my life forever. Just fill out that adoption form then sit tight until this darn virus thing is under control. Once we're together we can put all this behind us and just focus on getting to know each other.  Doesn't that sound good?   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Hiya! I’m Myla, a beautiful Saluki Mix pup from Bahrain. I am two years old, weigh 55 pounds, and stand about 65cm tall. Aren’t I purdyyy? My rescuers describe me as a sweet and energetic dog who enjoys walks and cuddles – oh how I LOVES the cuddles! I am gentle with everyone I meet; hoomans, doggos, and kitty cats. Well, I may not be super excited about kitty cats, but as you can see from my video… I don’t seem remotely bothered by their presence.  What’s my story? I was rescued as a puppy (along with my mama and my three siblings) and have been living with my dog fam ever since. My mama (Sophia) was recently adopted and even though I’ll miss her soooo much, I’m so happy that she has a loving home to go to. I have doggy dreams of being adopted myself! Would you please consider giving me a furever home?  I LOVE my people and will always be more than happy to come to you for affection, food, or fun!   Being a young dog, I love to exercise! Perhaps we could check out some dog parks or some of the hiking trails I’ve heard so much about? I’m pretty chill once I’ve had my daily walk... maybe I could have a big comfy bed to cuddle up on while I nap?  My sweet face and loving nature makes me an ideal pupcake for any family or single person. Pleaseeeee give me a home!! I have been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Namaste (Negar) Breed(s): Hound/Blue Heeler Age: 1-1/2 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 21-3/4 in Relations: Good with dogs & kids / cats unknown Activity level: moderately active to active Highlights: Tripaw, very gentle demeanor, loves running, quick learner, polite Region: Middle East Namaste is a word you might’ve probably heard more than once, and it happens to be my name too. Isn’t it cool? It is a respectful greeting and I am a girl who shows respect. It’s really nice to know that I’m named after such a positive word, because that’s how I want my life to be from now on: full of positivity and love and just overall happiness. Sadly, the first part of my story wasn’t like that at all. I was found by the forest services the day after the Persian New Year, can you believe it? But well, in the Middle East, it’s not unusual to find cases like mine at any time of the year.    When my rescuer got the call that I was severely injured, she came to see me right away. My foot had been chopped off, so I was in a lot of pain and didn’t want to see anyone. However, there was something special about my rescuer, so I let her pick me up to take me to the vet. The vet couldn’t save my front leg. The infection was spreading fast to my upper body, so I needed to have my leg removed asap. Apparently, someone had hurt me with an axe days before I was rescued, so I lost a lot of blood and was really weak.  The recovery process was long; it took months after the surgery for me to come back to life, but with love, I managed to be fine again. That’s how I became the beautiful tripawd you see on the pictures. Now, I’m completely healthy and I have a very sweet and gentle personality even after everything I went through. I get along with other dogs (even the small ones), and I do like people. My rescuer says I’m mild mannered, so it’s really easy to be around me. What’s not easy, though, is that there’s not much space for me to run around the house. I’m a very energetic girl, and I love exercising. So it’s been complicated for me to get the physical activity I need (my missing leg isn’t a problem, you’ll see).  I love playing with the other dogs in the house (especially my best bud, Poneh, laying in photo with me) and running is my favorite sport. I’m the fastest around! But since it’s not allowed for people to walk their dogs outside in my rescuer’s country, I don’t get to do it often enough. And things don’t seem to be getting better any time soon here. Unfortunately, my rescuer’s husband just had a heart attack. Such a nice guy! So the family is moving closer to the hospital to an even smaller place.  They can’t have me with them anymore, despite them loving me as much as they do. We’re in an emergency state right now, because I’m being moved to a shelter as you read. I really don’t want to stay there for long, I’m a family girl. That’s why I’m here, trying to find a forever home in Canada. I’d love to live with a family that has kids who could play with me and if there’s a fenced yard to run around or someone who could take me out to exercise, I couldn’t be luckier. Also, I’m a very smart girl. I learn things with little effort, so I’m sure we can spend a great time playing, running and learning together. I know I can bring lots of love and happiness to my new home, so go click the “adopt” button. You won’t regret it. I’m not only pretty, but also smart and gentle. I know I can be a great companion. Namaste!   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
