About ALEXI - local, in WA (Special Needs)

Adoption Fee: $300

I am Alexi. If you're in the Seattle / greater Seattle area, please keep reading! If you have a big heart and love cuddles, I could be the one for you!

I am a cute terrier mix and maybe Berger Picard (around 10kg and 3.5 years old) and if you take a look into my deep brown eyes and my large muppet ears, you might quickly fall in love. We are looking to keep me in the Seattle / North Seattle area, as I'm really bonded to my foster Mom, and would need a slow transition. Also, you could think of adopting me as possibly a part time share, my foster Mom would like to stay in my life, help out and dog sit, if that would be okay with you. Feel free to reach out for more information if you're truly interested, and you can chat with my current Mama. You can contact us through this rescue group or even send my foster Mom a message on my Instagram account - info below.

I was found by some kind people in an abandoned building, paralyzed in all four of my limbs. - Trust me, I'm a survivor!

The good news - I am now in a loving foster home, just North of Seattle, and have had an MRI. My c5-c6 is injured, which has caused paralysis in my four limbs. My foster mama has done a tremendous amount of work with me to make me stronger.  At this point I can not sit, stand or walk by myself and my bladder gets expressed about 4 times a day. I don't wear diapers, and I have a normal 2x daily bowel movement.

I'm one of the few paralyzed dogs that doesn't need to wear diapers! Since the time I've been in foster care, my whole body has become stronger. Six months after I arrived here, my back legs started to "wake up," it was amazing! I now go on daily walks / tows in my cart (see my videos, or check out my IG account).

Once my cart starts to get pulled in a forward motion, my rear legs follow (most days, though I do have stubborn days too). Currently I walk 1/4-1/2 a mile daily, sometimes more! I can't steer very well, because of my injury I tend to go left quite often. I move my front shoulders, but my front paws haven't woke up. My days consist of cart walks, park visits, exercises, cuddles and snoozing. Once I get my walk, I'm usually ready for cuddles and a nap. I LOVE to take naps with my human.

You may follow along my adventures here, which I now share with my foster sibling who was also rescued from this organization: https://www.instagram.com/rescuedgypsy/

People have started a go fund me page.  http://www.gofundme.com/help-alexi

I also now have an Amazon.com wish list of my very own! https://amzn.to/2I3kT9v

I always so excited to go outside, and enjoy the fresh air! Sometimes that is in my cart, or my special backpack. Every time my human comes to give me love I do the wiggles and sometimes I sing to her.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe this world is full of special people. I already found one of them and she's my foster mom. If dreams come true, my next special person is reading this right now and lives close to my foster family!

I'd love a family who has a nice doggy friend for me, and someone who is home often. I like to be around my humans, in the same room, and outside on adventures. My forever human should be physically fit and will continue my care.

If you live near me, my current Mama will go through my routines with you, including my favorite places to visit.

I live with two cats, sometimes I'm not bothered by them, but sometimes I growl and bark (can you blame me, I am part terrier). I'd prefer a home without small children, and any older children need to be kind, gentle and patient.

Once I know you, and you sit and give me treats for a couple of minutes I earn your trust. When I'm out on my walks in my cart, I very rarely bark, though I will do a high pitch happy bark when I see a dog that peeks my interest!

I would thrive to be in a home with another gentle and playful dog. Having another loving dog around really has helped my motivation and my happiness. I am also not neutered and need to stay that way. I need my hormones to help me get stronger.

I know it will take a special person to give me a forever home, but I believe you are out there somewhere and when we find each other both our lives will grow bigger with love.

Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. RANA Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 9 months Gender: fe, spayed Wgt: 8 lbs Energy level: Average Relations: good with dogs & cats / unknown kids Highlights: perky, playful, happy, shortened paws in front (tripaw)  Region: Middle East I am a playful, happy kitty who needs a loving home. I love the 2 legged hoomon animals and know my name well when they call to me. https://youtu.be/y9OqJ8Ar3Eo. I was a victim of unimaginable human cruelty. Just a few months ago, I was found in a building with my paws dipped in a bowl of cement. My paws & skin were melted from the heat. Due to this, I lost the end of one paw and the lower part of my leg on the other: https://youtu.be/k7u0Fc5MHNk. My right paw with time and care grew back the skin, but my left paw remained exposed. I was losing weight and was in unimaginable pain. After, lots of opinions from vets and many rejections from some, my rescuers decided to go against euthanizing me. Phew. They instead decided to take the risk and do skin grafting surgery. Against all odds the surgery was successful and I am now the energetic kitten you see hopping my way around the room: https://youtu.be/hib29_IZdI-9_IZdI. There will be no further health hazards with my front paws. You will need to keep watch that my rear legs and spine are checked occasionally as I age though, since I will not be walking in a normal position. You will see my left elbow doesn't bend though, as the muscles were too badly damaged. But I use both paws and put weight on them with no issues. Although I can do a couple stairs no problem, flights of stairs are best discouraged in the long term. I don't seem to to be experiencing any pain. So, I can be a wild and crazy kitty... playing with my toys & my people: https://youtu.be/PKe_1BxWKq8. I have an amazing zest for life and a sweet personality. I am great with other animals, cats or dogs. I would like a home where I am an indoor cat. I can be a chillin kitty too: https://youtu.be/MekfDB-N0AQ. I am generally not much of a talker. I like to cuddle, but much prefer playing. This incident hasn't affected my spirit any either. I am a perky girl, who acts like any other cat. You will love my silly antics, like getting into the candy jar: https://youtu.be/6akWaraHiRE or flipping a toy around: https://youtu.be/B5anhc6dKlg.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $150.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Hiya! My name is River and I am a beautiful 3 year old Lab/Border Collie mixed pooch. I’m a big and strong girl, weighing in at about 80 pounds. I need a patient, loving human who can earn my trust; after that, I will lavish you with my love and loyalty! Here’s my story: I was born in Iran and was rescued off the streets when I was just 12 weeks old (check out my puppy pics!). I was left in the hot sun and had developed heat stroke, but even worse, there were some mean humans beating my poor little body. Luckily, after I was rescued, I found a loving home here in Canada. My family loves me sooo much, but unfortunately, I am not very gentle around young children, so they need to find me a new home.   My ideal home: I would LOVEEE a home with a yard for me to run around in. I’m not super high energy, but I love to run in my yard! Full disclosure, I can be a bit vocal/protective of my space and am capable of jumping small fences; so a sturdy, tall fence is a must. I love being outside! After some time roaming my terrain, I love to come inside and lounge on the couch. I play hard but I crash hard too (check out all my couch pics, hehe). I love to go for walks and I really enjoy socializing with dogs I’m familiar with. You guessed it, I’ll need some slow, patient introductions to my future doggy friends. Other dogs need to earn my trust before they become my friend. Bonus: I’m pretty good around dog-savvy kitty cats. Okay, they may not be my besties, but I basically leave them alone (with the occasional bossy, non-aggressive, moment). I’ve lived with a cat for the last 3 years, so I’d say that’s pretty darn successful! Plesae note that I do NOT do well with children so I need an adult home ONLY. Similarly, I need slow introductions to strangers too. Meeting new people is not my fav thing to do, however once I get to know you and learn to trust you, I will absolutely adore you! Once I know that you’re trustworthy, I will become quite affectionate and comfy with you. I will say, I prefer women over men – can you say girl’s night?! Do you think you could be my new forever friend? Please come and meet me, I’d love to meet you! I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $500   Looking for more furry friends? Hello to my future furever family! My name is Robbie (or you can call me Rob). I am a handsome two-year old, 55-pound (70cm tall) bundle of love. My rescuers think I might be a Shepherd-Saluki mix; whatever breed I may be... I must say, I'm pretty dang cute! What's my personality like, you might ask? Well, I am a super sweet, bubbly, friendly, outgoing, and gentle pup. It doesn't get better than that, eh? Oh I'm also 95% house-trained AND apparently I'm great on a leash! I'm pretty active and love being outside. Perhaps we could go for runs, long walks, or visit some doggy friends at the local dog park? What's my story? I was found in an area of Bahrain called Adilya, where I was hanging out near a restaurant looking all sweet and lonely and oh so very hungry. My rescuer fed me some bread  and then guess what? I followed her and jumped straight into her car! My kind rescuer took me to the shelter, where I have been ever since. Although I'm so lucky not to be on the streets anymore, I long for a real home filled with love, cuddles, and maybe a nice soft bed. Could you be my furever family? I hear amazing things about the Canadian West Coast, oh how I'd love to travel there! Although there is no video of me hanging out with cats or kids, my rescuer says that I'm a gentle boy and get along with every animal and kiddo that I meet. I have been neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Have you ever heard of 'happy tail' ? It's a thing with some of us - we just can't stop wagging our tail, even if that means bashing it so hard against the side of the kennel that it becomes injured and bloody.   My name is Rufus and I am a wagaholic.  Even though my tail had to be removed I still wag whatever I can because that's just me! I am a one year old Border terrier/Schnauzer mix from S.Korea. I weigh in at a manageable 35lb and I am about 20 inches tall, so I'm the kind of medium sized dog who has plenty of stamina, but isn't so big that you can't pick me up if necessary. The dog control people found me on the streets and took me to the pound. There is a high kill rate there so it wasn't long before I was on the euthanasia list. Luckily my unique look and friendly nature caught the attention of one of the volunteers who got me out of there in time and I am now at a private shelter where I am being well cared for until I can find a forever home.   Hopefully, that's where you come in! Are you interested in a happy extrovert who likes kids and loves to run around with other dogs? Have you been thinking it would be great to have a dog with the kind of wiry hair that is fairly easy care? A dog who is fun, curious and energetic?  I knew it! I'm perfect for you!  Check out my swagger;  I have 'cowboy' legs! Just another unique, and hopefully adorable, quirk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5Xc_azpYAo&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsYpddFs26u0SDku1F_ZXY&index=2 Here I am meeting a complete stranger:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyV8J_xgOSY&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsYpddFs26u0SDku1F_ZXY&index=3 Because I want you to know everything about me, I should tell you that I have a couple of little bald spots on my leg and ears. My fur doesn't seem to want to grow back in those places after I healed from a past skin issue. They tell me that some humans have bald spots too, so I'm in good company. There's a photo of my ear if you're interested.  I have to admit I do pull on the leash when I am taken for walks, so I may need a little help with my leash-walking skills once I come and live with you. It's just because I am so excited to be out and about. Oooh, I just thought of something else I want you to know; I met something called a cat. Odd creature. Between you and me I felt a little bit intimidated.  They tell me there's a possibility you might live with a cat. Well, all I can say is... why? No, really, I don't judge you and I'm sure I would learn to appreciate the cat once I get to know it.  Here I am meeting the cat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOkTVglRfOs&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFsYpddFs26u0SDku1F_ZXY&index=6   So now we know that we're meant to be together, here's what you need to do: see that little button that says 'adopt'? Click on that as fast as you can and fill out the adoption application. Make sure you get my name right: R-U-F-U-S.    Meanwhile I'll hang out here and wait until they tell me I have a flight booked. It's all so exciting.    I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Shugar (Sugar) Breed: Anatolian Shepard Age: 11 months Gender: fe, will be spayed soon. Wgt/Hgt: 46 lbs / 26 inches Energy level: moderate Relations: good dogs, cats, kids Highlights: friendly, bit of separation anxiety, tripaw, likes playing Region: Middle East As a baby of only 1 month old, my rescuer found me alone on a street in the Middle East. I had part of a leg missing. My rescuer rushed me to the vet office where he told her it was not a congenital defect, but that my lower leg had been cut off by someone. So, my rescuer took care of me for a couple months and now is paying for me to be in boarding, while I await my forever home. Sure hope it happens fast. I am so excited to get to Canada. I am gentle with everyone, cats (what are these meowy things anyway), kids, hey bring on the grandma. I love everyone. https://youtu.be/najA6cL_ZGU. I am great with other dogs too https://youtu.be/gaxu9h0Hz8U. Playing and eating are favorites of mine. Food motivated makes training much easier. I haven't lived in a home yet, so am not yet house trained, but that is quick to learn for my smart breed. One thing I don't like, is to be left alone. I will bark for a few minutes after you leave, but will then quiet down and stop. I really just want to be with you giving lovings and getting scratches and playing and cuddling and getting treats and... well, just being your buddy. I bet we could take some neat excursions walking around sniffing things. Ok, I'll sniff, you watch. Oh, the 3 legged thing, I'm used to it now. I get around fine right now, but I will need to use some ankle support (especially while I am still growing), so my ankle can grow strong & won't break down carrying my weight. My rescuers are providing me some special supplements to help too. Maybe you can get me a prosthesis. There's still enough leg there to do so. Then watch out, I'll be running like the wind. Won't you bring me into your heart & home?   I will be spayed/neutered soon. I am *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. More information can be found on our website. *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.  show less

Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hi ho, Silver!  I must have heard that somewhere but I can't imagine where since I am only a 6 month old Jindo puppy from South Korea. I was found, along with 9 other puppies and two adult female dogs who were chained up in a clearing. Some of us pups were in cages and all of us had been without food for some time. Turns out the person who owned us all was in hospital in a coma. His horrible family, when asked what should be done with the dogs, said we should all be killed! That's when Welcome Dog Korea came to our rescue and we are now safe at their shelter facility. You will probaly take one look at my fluffy 15lb body and want to cuddle me. I hope so! Right now I am 16 inches tall so I'll probably be a medium sized dog when I'm all grown up.  By nature I am a happy girl who loves to follow big dogs around in the hope they will play with me.  Smaller dogs aren't nearly as interesting, and cats are a complete bore, in my opinion.  I think it would be wonderful if I could have a big brother or sister dog to live with. I bet they could show me a thing or two about life in a home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsDo6f-liV0&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHmfGt_ebEDZojycR48_Dfb&index=1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx8sJj8WyNw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eHmfGt_ebEDZojycR48_Dfb&index=7 Speaking of home, will you give me one? I would be an easy dog to train as I love treats and I am curious about everything. Right now I am a typical, playful puppy who enjoys wrestling with other dogs, exploring the world around me and taking the odd nap here and there.  Wouldn't it be cool to have me grow up with you?  You can make that happen you know.   I am spayed,  vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $600 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   How about you and I get together for some one on one time? I would really love that. Right now I am biding my time here at a very crowded shelter in Shanghai. Between you and me, I'm not cut out for this kind of chaos and would much rather live with a few hundred less other dogs. Just give me a little social distancing - please! My name is Snoogy and I am on the smaller side, weighing in at around 20lb with a height of 16 inches. I am about one and a half years of age and made up of perhaps a little bit of Australian Kelpie and a touch of Basenji, but with a smaller build. Can't go wrong with that combo! The dog control picked me up, along with some others who were found wandering the city streets.  People here often just dump their unwanted pets and these days there is so much unfounded fear and paranoia that things have become even worse.   If you're looking for a great little dog to tag along by your side on daily walks and keep you company at home, then I'm your fella. I don't get much opportunity for chin scratches and cuddles these days, but I have no doubt that I would soak up that kind of attention. One look at my eyes and you can surely tell how much I crave a little love.  Here I am on a rare walk with one of the staff here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YCNEkoO9D4&feature=youtu.be My submissive nature suggests I would be fine around cats, but if you really want me to I can ask the people here to introduce me to one. And for sure I can share a home with another dog if I have to. Hopefully not a big, boisterous one though; that may be a little much for me. Please say I'm the one.  I want to get out of here and start living my life with you. I'll wait right here until you send for me.   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hiya! I’m Sonja and I am on a quest to find my forever home. I’m a beautiful 4-year-old Shepherd Lab Mix from the streets of Bahrain. Aren’t I a cutie patootie? I’m a super sweet 44-lb pooch and stand about 23-inches tall. I have a pretty nice smile too, if I do say so myself. You’ll get LOTS of smiles from me if you adopt me and give me lots of ear rubs!! Have ya seen Milli and Valentine up for adoption too? Well, they’re my besties! We’re kennel-mates… kinda like roomates except cooler (hehe). We all get along really well – just like I do with all animals I meet! Yup, I’m even OK with cats. In fact, I’m pretty shy around the feline-type… no aggression from this gal! Check it out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipNeJYvmsFE&feature=youtu.be) My story is a bit unknown. All my rescuers know is that I was a stray on the streets of Bahrain. They took me in when I was in need and thank goodness they did! They have kept me safe and sound at the shelter ever since. It has been a few years now though and I reallyyyyy wish I had a home and a human to call my own. I REALLY love humans though -- look how happy I am gettin my ears scratched (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOtyXSR2tJM&feature=youtu.be). Just think, if you adopt me, we could have ear scratches and belly rubs and treats and walks and cuddles and ohmygawd wouldn't it be amazing?! Are ya looking for some furry companionship in your life? Well hey, pick me!! I am a moderately active, kind-hearted, sweet girl who has a LOT of love to give (and deserves even more love in return!) I am spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. SPROCKET (Shado) German Shepard/Spitz (Eurasier) Age: 11 month Gender: Male, neutered Wgt/Hgt: 53 lbs / just under 30 inches Activity level: med to med high Relations: good with dogs & kids / unknown cats Highlights: Friendly, tripaw, playful Region: Middle East Tripaw or not, I still like to play. Hahaaa, full play mode... can't touch dis: https://youtu.be/Caa47cVo710. You'll find me quite the friendly fellow. When I was about a month old, my rescuer found me near a major city in the Middle East with injuries, especially to my leg. I stayed for 2 months under special care, but the nerves in my leg never recovered. The vet decided I would be better off not dealing with further problems, so he amputated my leg. Don't worry, I know how to get around just fine. My handicap doesn't stop me from having fun. I have been with my rescuer for 8 months now. I am so ready to find my always & forever home. You can see by the photos, I like kids just fine. Never had the opportunity to interact with kitties though. People are great though. Hoping we can find lots of fun things to do together. My personality will wow ya. I am a gentleman!  Hope to be coming your way soon.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.    Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. STARGAZER (Star) Breed: Beagle/Am Staffordshire Terrier Age: 7 yrs Gender: m, neutered Wgt/Hgt: 84 lbs / 29-1/2 inches Energy level: High to moderately high Relations: best as only dog / unknown kids & cats Highlights: loyal, friendly, lots of energy, would make great running or hiking buddy Region: Israel Ever gaze up into a starry, starry sky and wish you could touch that beauty. Well, you can touch this star. I am a noble looking boy. Don't let my size intimidate you, I am a big boy with an even bigger heart. I am friendly with people, especially people who give tummy rubs. I was rescued by the special forces from non-ideal conditions. The army here tried to train me, but due to my age, it was a bit late to be able to do what they needed. So they gave me to my rescuer to find me a loving home in Canada. Having lived in wide open spaces with the army, that is really what I need. I need the space to run around, as I have high energy levels. A ranch with acreage or a really big yard with people who maybe like to go hiking a lot. I am not opposed to crashing out on the couch and chillin' either though, as you can see in some of my photos. With my keen observation skills, I would be good letting you know if someone comes sneaking around. I am a very loyal boy, who is also caring toward my people. Since I am more of a dominant type personality, I would need to be the only dog in the home. I have never been around cats or kids. I bet we could have fun doing something like scentwork. The Beagle nose in me probably would display good searching abilities. I'd love a home where we could maybe be running partners or travel around the mountains hiking. I am in good health and waiting for my new life. Can I be your shining star to light up your life?   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.  My adoption fee is $450.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Sunshine Breed: Pointer/Anatolian Age: 3 yrs (4 in Jun) Gender: fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 51 lbs / 27-1/2 inches Energy level: low to moderate Relations: good with dogs, kids / Unknown cats Highlights: happy attitude, tripaw, loves being around people, adores home cooked meals Region: Middle East Pleased to make your acquaintence dear Canadians. You can see my lovely spirit shine through my happy face. I definitely love people and other dogs too. I was found by a good samaritan living in a crowded shelter close to the capital city of my country in the Middle East. My rescuer noticed me right away because of my injured paw. You see, I had been run over and as a result, my hip was broken in 5 locations. In addition, my left back paw was damaged along the nerve running down through my hip. I was unable to walk when my good samaritan pulled me from the shelter. She took on the responsibility of getting surgery for me, as well as my physical therapy afterward. The veterinarians had to remove bones in my paw, as well as two toes. After sessions of physical therapy though, I was doing fine and walking again. I had lost feeling in my paw however, due to missing some nerve endings, so the doctor said I had to wear a special bootie on that paw. The inflammation in my paw was stable and didn't appear to get worse, so the hope was things would stabilize. When I would move, I kind of used my injured leg as a cane. As you can see by my video, I could run around just like the other dogs. We can still do all the things a family and dog do together.  New update on my toe issue (May 2020): my leg now has been amputated. That makes me part of the elite tripaw club. See my new photos. Watching to learn my new limits would be good in the beginning. https://youtu.be/cg43ieknnzY. As my video shows, I get along and play with other dogs of all sizes. I also love people. Cats are an unknown commodity, because I have not been around any yet. I am also good with children. If I could find a low to moderate level activity home, that would be perfect. I would certainly enjoy taking walks with you, but I would be in 7th heaven just snuggling on the couch with you or anywhere you go. I just love being around people. Another dog buddy in the home is grand by me. I hear hanging out at the dog parks is fun too. I would love to know what it is like to be a part of a real family, who love me as much as I do them. If you make any home cooked meals, I simply adore that. Will you give me the chance to live a life of sweet happiness by your side? I will be ever so devoted.  New update on my toe issue (May 2020): my leg now has been amputated. TABETA Breed: Husky/pointer mix Age: 3 years Gender: Female Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 19.6 inches Energy level: high - med high Relations: good with dogs / unknown cats & kids Highlights: extremely active, playful, enjoys playing ball, sweet natured Region: Middle East Hey you all! My name is Tabeta and I am here looking for the love of my life. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and boy are mine stunning. It won’t take but a glance for you to see what an amazing dog I am. Playful and full of pep, I’d make a great cheerleader to ensure you get your daily dose of smiles. My peppery looking coat adds just the right amount of spice in your life. If you need more convincing my colourful personality ought to seal the deal. As much as I want to share my past, the truth is not much is known about me before I was found. Since I was a young pup I have been a stray living a hard life. The day I was saved I was discovered on the side of the road somewhere in the Middle East. It was not known what had happened to me, but somehow I had broken my leg. Thankfully the person that discovered me took me in and helped me recover. Now I can say I am as happy and healthy as can be! My only worries these days is finding the right, cozy spot to curl up in. In my new life adventure I am looking for an amazing family to cuddle with to help make my sleeping spot an easy choice. As a young lady who is bounding full of energy and enthusiasm, I am your ideal mascot to bring on hikes or anything exciting for that matter. I am a pretty hyper dog, so if you are looking for a pooch who can keep up with you then I’m the gal for you.  It’s a tough go when you are forever in search of fun times. One great way I drain my energy is wrestling and playing around with my pup pals. I get along great with all dogs and like to think there is no such thing as too may friends. If other dogs aren't around it doesn't stop me from having a blast. Just bring your party hat and a ball and you'll see what a goof I can be. I am as playful as I am lovable and people can’t help falling for me. Being a young dog yet there is no limit to the amount of things you can teach me. Just give me some patience (loads of treats won’t hurt) and in no time you'll see how clever I am.  As a pup with a lot of energy, I would do well with an active family who can satisfy my need for a thrill. My dream home would be a place with a backyard, but if you promise plenty of trips to the park I am sure we can work something out. Having another dog in the house wouldn't be too bad either, given how well I get along with my fellow canines.  Unfortunately I can’t say so much for cats, as I have never been tested with them, so  I will need a house without them.  Though I have a very sweet nature, I have not been tested with children yet either.  As a former stray, I have never really known what having a family means, but I really want to learn. If given a chance to shine I know you won’t be disappointed. I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.  My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.
