Pia is a pure breed pom. She is a very sweet loving little girl. She is house broken and good with cats, dogs, and kids. She is about 6 months old and  5 1/2 pounds. She came to us because her owners noticed that she couldnt see very well. They took her to the vet and there vet said she needed to see a specialist.  They have a pool and she had fallen in and they were worried if happened again she could drown.  We have taken her to the eye specialist and he said as time progresses how ever we expect that she will be completely blind.  Right now if she gets use to her new home she will know her way around. (since vet believes she can still see shadows)  Her other sences are hightened such as smell and hearing since she was born this way. Here at the building you wouldnt even know she had a problem she follows you around and hangs out with other dogs. We believe she should not be in a home with stairs or a pool. The vet also said she does not need any meds or special care for her eyes just a yearly check up. We are looking for a special person to give her a forever home it would be very hard for her to adjust later in life if she had to be rehomed.   You can call Linda to get more info. 925 899-1230 All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on their shots and have a wellness check-up prior to a adoption being finalized. Keep in mind that any dog in a new environment, regardless of training and age will need your attention in the potty training department during a transition.
