#TheAceDiaries Hi ya'll. I'm Ace and I've been hanging out with CBR for a while, so I could get healthy and ready to meet my forever family. I was a stray and had a big ole open wound on my leg when they took me in. My foster family loved me and made sure it got washed and treated and now I'm all better. I finished all my visits to the vet! And now I can meet you! I'm a really good boy. I get along great with dogs and love to play with them. I was a little untrusting of people at first, but I'm getting so much better and starting to enjoy meeting new people. I think I would like to have another playmate when I get adopted, and a nice big yard to run in.  I can't wait to meet my new family! Love, Ace show less

#TheChloeDiaries 5/8/19 Dear Diary, Hey I'm Chloe.  I am a very sweet and kissable 7 year young matuure lady. I've spent the last 5 years living in the backyard with very little interaction with people or dogs. I am learning what it's like to be a pet! To be loved and played with. And you would be surprised at how active I am for a 7 year old. I love to a good romp with my donut toy, or chasing my fur siblings around the back yard...even playing frisbee with my foster Mom! I've learned how to use a dog door, so now I can go out and right back in when I please! What a feeling! I also enjoy my time to relax! Hi Everyone! My name is Cooper and I am told that I am quite handsome. So yeah, I'm handsome. :) I'm 3 years old and I get along great with other dogs and kids, but I'm always on the lookout to chase someone. I'm told it's called a "high prey drive", and I if something is running, I have to give chase. If its a smaller dog, I also don't know how to control my excitement and sometimes they get hurt, even though I don't mean to.  I was adopted out by a nice couple, but I quickly learned out to escape out any open door (just call me Houdini), and I caused too much trouble while I was out roaming the streets. For now, I'm back with CBR and staying with a trainer that is helping me learn how to better handle that need to chase anything and everything. I am going to need a very dog/boxer savvy family to help me. I'm not sure dog park kind of dog. I may not even be great hanging out at outdoor restaurants. And I'll need a strong handler to manage me on walks. I'm just a big, strong boy that loves to play and tackle...I'm a boxer boy. That's what we do. Say hi to Fiona! Her situation really has us scratching our heads. She's been with us for 2 years now. WHY? Well...let's debunk a few myths about FiFi... She doesn't look boxer. Nope, she certainly doesn't. Our adorable little snausage is definitely a mix, probably bulldog. One of the prettiest boxer-bulldogs you'll ever meet. Piercing blue eyes always checking you out. Stocky little body that will squeeze into the smallest places to get the best hugs and snuggles. Who would complain about that! 🥰 She's deaf, it'll be hard: Nope, deaf dogs are actually very easy. She knows some sign language and she will consistently look to you for cues to find out what she can and can't do. But hey, like any other boxer, that doesn't mean she's always going to obey those signs, or even watch for them. 😂 She has to be an only dog, so she must be mean. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. Sure, she must be an only dog. But this hill has been climbed many times with other dogs. It doesn't mean she is mean. She just prefers people. People she can kiss and love and snuggle and talk with. She gives the most gentle, sweetest kisses EVER. She loves to be by your side all the time. She might talk back every once in a while, but what child doesn't? Fi is a people person. She needs her person. If you want a sweet loving girl, and you have a backyard that she can run around in (squirrels are a bonus, but not necessary), a couch with comfy blanks she can lounge on (she prefers the end so she can rest her head on the arm), and open to snuggles and kisses, and don't plan to have any other dogs....Fiona is your gal. Give her a chance. Our love bug deserves it. #CBRFiona #LoveHasNoLimits show less

Killian is just a young boxer pup, about 6 months old, and ended up in a South Texas shelter with his Mom. Besides being a totally cutie pie, he is your typical boxer boy. He loves to play constantly with his foster brother, but also loves a good snuggle and kises as well. Killian is learning to walk on a leash, is just about house broken and does well in a crate. Killian would do best in a home with another dog so he can have a playmate. He is completely vetted and ready to meet his forever family! show less

#LoverBoyDiaries Dear Diary, I am happy and sad. I am sad because I had to leave my the only family I've ever known. But happy, because I get to live inside and get to eat and play and snuggle and give kisses. I especially like to play fetch with my new foster parents.  I have to go visit with a vet guy, they are going to check me over and make sure I'm a healthy boy. I'll let you know how that goes. #TheMiaRoseDiaries Dear Diary, What a crazy time. I was living with my family, and the next thing I knew I was in a car with strangers heading to a strange place and people I've never met. But they have been really awesome and allowing me to be myself and learn some manners. See, I'm still a little girl...only 2.5. I didn't learn the right way to be a dog. So it takes me some time to warm up to people and dogs. If I see them on my walks, I get a little anxious and want to tell them how worried I am and that I don't know them and that I see that as a threat. But they don't understand what I'm saying. But my foster Mom says I've gotten better because now I get walks all the time and see people and dogs more often. I just need more consistent training and a forever family that will be patient with me. But I also love to snuggle and get lovins. When my foster Mom's friends come to visit, my little nubber just gets waggin, and I patiently wait for them to show me affection, I don't jump on them or antyhing. I enjoy my crate, and I don't potty in the house at all.  I'm hoping to meet a family that will love me forever. Love, Mia Rose show less
