About Storm

Storm is an affection-seeking, sweet, playful female who we estimate was born in 2017. She and her sister Thunder were given up by an owner who could't take care of them any longer and now she's looking for a new family to love. Storm is a petite girl and might be called a dilute tortoiseshell - an unusual but beautiful mix, with a coat of gray, brown and orange markings. She gets along with other cats - not sure about dogs. Her gentle personality will win you over!

Storm is negative for FIV/FELV, is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.

If you would like to meet Storm, please contact Heather at cat-coordinator@paw-rescue.org

Hi, I'm Haylie.  I'm a 6 month old lab mix.  Currently I weigh around 40 pounds and my black fur shines in the sun.  If you are looking for a very sweet energetic pup, then I might be the perfect addition to your family.   Currently I am living with my foster family.  There are a lot of playmates here and I do well with all of them.  The cats don't like me much though.  They hiss at me, just because I like to sniff at new things! My foster mom tells me "No Kitties" and then I know the sniffing needs to stop.  The kids are great.  I like it when they give me hugs and go outside with me.  My doggie foster sisters are a lot of fun.  We wrestle and play together.  I would be lonely if I didn't have anyone to play with so my forever home needs to have at least one other dog so we can play together!   I love running around outside.  My perfect home would have a nice fenced yard.  After a hard day of playing I like to curl up on the couch.  Okay, actually I like to sprawl out on the couch, causing everyone else to sit around me.  I also like to chew on rope toys and chase tennis balls.   My foster mom says I am a great house guest since I am potty trained and I hardly ever bark.  She also says I am young and energetic, but not destructive.   I can "sit" and I'm working on my leash skills.  I don't love going into my crate at night but once I'm in, I settle down quickly. Come and meet our PAW dogs at one of our weekend adoption shows at local area pet stores.  The shows run from 12 - 2 pm.  Not all our dogs attend every show so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog send an email to info@paw-rescue.org before coming to the show to arrange a visit.   show less

Paddy is an adorably handsome 3 year old American Bulldog mix and weighs 56 lbs. He is a playful and super cuddly boy with soft eyes and a happy tail that's always wagging. Paddy does great with his two canine foster siblings and loves to play with them. He is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows various commands. Paddy loves to run around in the yard and play fetch with a ball; he will always return it to you and knows the command "drop" while sitting patiently waiting for you to throw it again. He likes to tear the stuffing out of soft toys, so durable toys rated for "strong chewers" work best for him. Paddy will sweetly curl up in your lap or lie down beside you to settle down and relax; he adores being with his people. He needs to be sure he can trust new people, so he does best with soft and slow introductions. Once that trust is established, he loves you fiercely and forever! He's a smart, gentle, lovable boy waiting for his forever family. Paddy will do best in a home with a confident and kindhearted leader, and no young children. Sweet Sky is a two year old, 60 lb., German Shepherd mix who has recently found a foster home. His foster mom has the following to say about Sky: In less than a week since we started fostering Sky, he’s shown that he is smart, energetic, great with kids, great with other dogs, and has an amazing sense of smell. Sky is also great on a leash and, if anything, he takes a little longer to explore every little smell along the way. When he’s home with just our dog, he lays around on the couch all day, and takes a lap around the house every once in a while. He’s not much of a barker at all. Given his looks, his strong food motivation, and habit of exploratory sniffing, we think he’s probably part fox hound. Sky is house-trained and can sit when asked. He travels really well in the car (in a crate). Sky is also a really fast runner but is actually a little clumsy with his long legs.  Sky’s very food-motivated, so it will be important to keep food up and away until he’s been fully trained not to counter-surf. He is also food-reactive with other dogs at the moment. We’re working with him on that issue daily and have been able to have him and our other dog receive training treats together already. If his new home has a doggy roommate, they will need to be fed separately until he is trained to not be food aggressive.  He doesn’t show any food aggression towards people or children.  Sky would make a fabulous companion for any loving home! show less
