About BIRGITTA (Middle East)

Adoption Fee: $500

Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait.

BIRGITTA (Brigitte)
Breed: Aidi mix (Atlas Shepard dog)
Gender: fe, spayed
Age: 3 years old
Wgt/Hgt: 42 lbs/almost 25-1/2 inches
Relations: Scared of other dogs/good with kids (per policy)/unknown cats
Activity Level: Moderate to somewhat active
Highlights: Loves people, food motivated (great for training), calm temperament
Region: Middle East

Sometimes bad things happen that lead to wonderful opportunities... that is my story. I was involved in a serious car accident here in the Middle East and the people who found me thought it best to put me down as my treatment would be too costly, but lucky for me there were others willing to step in and help with the surgery costs.

But my story does not end there. It was not long before they came to learn I also had parvovirus. Things did not look good for me. But I am a survivor and after months of care I was finally strong enough to undergo the extensive surgery I needed.

The surgeon had very little hope I would walk again, but again I amazed them ! With physiotherapy and lots of love, I was able to regain the use of my legs quite well if I may say so myself. I do drag my back leg a bit but it adds to my charm - check out my video.  https://youtu.be/KwmvoM9yLPs. Now I am running too https://youtu.be/qaFU1lT28HE.

When I was living on the street food was scarce, so now I will eat and eat and eat ... I am very food motivated. Bet you could use that to your advantage to teach me lots of tricks.

Next to food my favourite thing is tummy rubs and will drop whatever I am doing to get one of those!

I am a people pleaser and love all of you two legged creatures .. especially the youngsters - I very much enjoy playing with children. It’s the four legged ones I am not too sure about. Other dogs scare me a bit but with time I will warm up to them and welcome these new friends too. I  am never aggressive just fearful. https://youtu.be/690U-kbYCEM.

No one is 100% sure how I will react to cats, as there are none here at my new foster, but one of the rescue volunteers remembers me during my time on the street and never once witnessed any aggression by me towards the cats that approached my food. But if that is important to you, they have promised to try their best to introduce me once our world opens up again. I have encountered cats on my walks with my foster and I do pull but it is thought it is out of curiousity not aggression.

This lock down is hard on everyone. But here at my foster, with Parvo in my past, I have blossomed into a healthy happy dog with a calm temperament full of love for everyone. My foster thinks I am just the sweetest dog around.

Now it is time for a new chapter, the one that has lead me here... one I hope, involves a forever home in Canada with you !

I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.
My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD + applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada.

Donegal (Damoon) Breed: Lab/Husky/Shepard (Estrela Mtn Dog) Age: 6 months Gender: m, too young to neuter Wgt/Hgt: 40 lbs / 21.5 inches Energy level: moderate, average puppy Relations: good w/ dogs, cats / unknown kids, but since puppies, ok to learn Highlights: Relaxed, gentlemanly attitude, kind disposition, playful Looking to keep you moving down the middle of the road with your sights set on my awesomeness. I am an absolute gentleman, who is quite kind hearted. Me and my siblings (Denali & Domino) were found in the street when we were young puppies. Our mama died of an infection, so our rescuer made sure we would be safe. We are with her mother right now, but can only stay a limited time. We will have to go to a shelter soon, if we don't find homes. I should be around 65 lbs and perhaps 22 inches or so tall when full grown. There is a kitty in our current home, so we are fine with a cat. Although I haven't been around children yet, I am a young puppy still, so capable of learning to live with them. It would be nice to be able to go out and play like normal puppies, but sadly it isn't safe here in our country for us to do that. A moderate to chilled out home would be mighty fine with me. Being a puppy, I like to romp around, but I really enjoy just hangin' out and getting belly scratches, chomping on a toy & watching things around me. You know, the suave, sophisticated, observant James Bond type. Wink. Another doggie friend would be great. I have my sisters to play with right now, but it would be awesome to have a bud there too. So, what do you want to do first? Go to the beach? Snowshoeing? Bet I could learn to ski-jor. Maybe we could go for a nice country drive and take in the sights... well, the smells for me. Maybe a relaxing hike into the woods or maybe we could just take a snooze together watching a movie. Whatever we do, let's get moving down the highway on it, shall we? I have not been spayed/neutered, as I am too young yet. I am *vaccinated & micro-chipped though. My adoption fee is $600.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. My spay/neuter is mandatory for my adoption to be finalized. LALDR does not cover the cost of sterilization on dogs arriving under 8 months of age.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hello everyone, I am Elfie from S.Korea, an 11 month jindo mix girl with a gentle, affectionate nature. My weight is just 18lb.  I was found as a stray, along with my two siblings, and we were taken to a shelter that is known to have a high-kill rate. It wasn't long before we were put on the euthanasia list. Luckily we were rescued from there and taken in by a private rescue group while we wait to find our forever homes. When I arrived here I tested positive for heartworm, but fortunately it was caught early (Stage 2) and I am now undergoing treatment for it.  If you like affectionate dogs, then you're really going to like me! Being petted and touched by human hands is one of my all time favourite ways to spend the time. I don't care if it's adults or kids petting me; just bring it on folks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_W5wWWICBs&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFbEWJvnCo3swHZso-S_EZn&index=2 To be honest, I am more interested in people than other dogs. Though I do enjoy playing with my siblings I am a little timid around big dogs and tend to lose interest in small ones if there are people in the vicinity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVqdHTezRh0&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFbEWJvnCo3swHZso-S_EZn&index=3 I have met cats and I am very gente with them, so I would be fine sharing my future home with a feline.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rcCT0QmQfE&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFbEWJvnCo3swHZso-S_EZn&index=6 My energy level is about average. Enough to enjoy going for walks with you each day, but not so much that you tire yourself out trying to meet my exercise needs. I hope you think I'm the perfect canine package and you immediately want to make me yours.   I am spayed, microchipped and vaccinated and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Elvy here! You can call me Elvis, if ya want. I am a 5 year-old, cool, calm, collected dude from Bahrain. My rescuers think I might be a Saluki-mix, but regardless, I’m just a super duper cute mixed breed of Bahrain awesomeness. I am a good sized pooch, weighing about 65 pounds and standing about 28 inches tall. Big news, I am awesome with dogs and cats! Check out my video, I ain’t lying! I know, awesome right? Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. My siblings and I had a rough start in life. We were found on an abandoned worksite, along with our mom, when we were just newborn pups. Fortunately a kind watchman on the property looked after us until the construction project started. At that point, we were moved to a rescue centre. In 2017, I moved to a new rescue home, The Centre. The people here treat me very well, but I'm still patiently waiting for a family of my own. Oh how I long to have a home filled with love, treats, belly rubs, and walks! All about me: My rescuers say that I am very gentle natured, slightly shy in new situations, submissive, sweet, and very loving. I am also incredibly tolerant, as you can see in this video of me being jumped all over by puppies, new dogs, and cats (   ). I take it all in great stride! Oooh I also LOVE to walk! These big long legs were made for walking! (   ) I feel like I would quickly fall in love with hiking the big, beautiful mountains in Canada that I’ve heard so much about! I have been neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped. I’m all ready to come to Canada any time!! My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, which includes my airfare to Canada.    Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Fando (Fandogh) Breed: Regional Shepherd Mix Age: 2 years old Gender: Female, spayed Wgt/Hgt 63 lbs, 32 inches tall Energy Level: Medium Relations: Good with children & small dogs and mostly male dogs, Not good with cats, chickens... Highlights: house trained, calm, loves playing ball Region: Middle East People of the Pacific Northwest, look no further, you've found me! I'm a sweet girl, just looking for a place to settle down and enjoy love and kindness. My name is Fando (Hazelnut in Persian). It's a beautiful name for a lady like me, don't you think? So why Hazelnut? I was rescued when I was just three weeks old, from a busy street in the Middle East. Neighbors say us babies were kicked out of a person's yard. My rescuer carried me home in her arms and thought I was so tiny, I was just like a hazelnut. Things have sure changed since that first day. I'm all grown up and am a big, strong girl with an adorable face and personality to match. I'm calm, as well as good with small dogs, children and mostly male dogs. I'd do well in a family setting, as long as there are no feline family members - or chickens, for that matter. I'm excited for the prospect of joining you over there. I hear you have balls to play with and snacks to chew on! That sounds like heaven. I love playing with my ball. Perhaps we can go on some adventures together? I hear PNW families can be pretty outdoorsy - I've never been on a hike in the forest, or gone swimming in a lake - it sounds amazing! Even just sitting outside with you while you barbeque and garden would be a dream come true for me. I'm ready to set down roots and be your little nut for the rest of my days. I'm so excited to meet you in person. It will be worth the wait! And then you can tell everyone our story about how it was love at first sight! And then love at first walk, and love at first lick, and love at first snuggle. All these lovely memories are just waiting to be made. If you feel the same way I do, please consider clicking Adopt.  I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Wait, don't move on to the next dog yet - please! Give me a chance to convince you that we are meant to be together. My name is Fanta and I have the strongest feeling that I could make you so happy.  I know you could transform my life. I am a 2 1/2 year old mixture of all things good. I mostly look like an itty bitty golden lab, but I'm quite petite; just 22lb and 16 inches tall.  They brought me to this shelter after finding me on the streets of Shanghai and now my main goal in life is to get out of here and find a home so I can spend more time with humans.  You see, this place just has too many darn dogs. Over 300 of us!  It's pretty amazing really that we all get along so well. Secretly, I'm always hoping  that Nana, the special lady that runs the place, will single me out for extra attention, so that's why I'm always trying to be a quiet and good little dog.  Since I'm not one to push to the front of the crowd and draw attention to myself, I just have to hope that she spots me sitting quietly by the fence and will come over to pet me.  It feels sooooo good to be petted. If you bring me home I will repay you with such gratitude that you will wonder how you managed to get by without my adoration.  If you feel like going for a walk, then I certainly will too. If you want to nap, then count me in. If your lap is chilly I'd happily use my body to warm it up. See; you need me! Just let me know what you are looking for in a doggy companion and I will do my best fill that role.   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. FEMORIK Breed: Smooth Coat Collie/Shepard Age: 1 yr Gender: Male, neutered Wgt/Hgt: 55 lbs / 30 inches Energy level: Medium Relations: Good with Dogs & Cats / kids unknown Highlights: Friendly and Outgoing Region: Middle East Can this dog with a limp make your heartbeat skip? Can I skip along with you? Can this dog with a grin make your spirit sing? Can I sing along with you? Can this ball of fluff, who has had it rough find true love with you? Hello beautiful people. Okay, so I might not be a poet, but I got a winning personality and I'm sure we would be great friends! I'm currently living at a shelter in the Middle East. I ended up here after being rescued from a drug addict. At the time of my rescue, I had a broken back leg. It's been repaired successfully through surgery and I'm now pain free. I have retained a bit of a limp but it doesn't cause me any problems or slow me down at all. I really like to think of it as a skip more than a limp - because it doesn't hurt. Also, as you can see from my video, my tail works perfectly! I love being around people and other dogs and get my wiggle wag going. Am I the right dog for you? I sure hope so. I am very friendly and get along really well with other dogs and even cats!  I haven't been exposed to any children. I'd probably do well in an adult home. A fenced back yard would be amazing too.... and my very own bed too!  Wowee!! You see, I haven't had very much to call my own so far in life. By giving me a space in your family, you'd be giving this dog the whole world. In return, I'll give you all my love. Pretty great deal, right? A moderately active home would suit my needs just fine. Hopefully, you are waiting for a buddy to do all kinds of fun things with. Hopefully, I've got your attention and you see all my potential. I'm a very sweet dog that just can't wait to start life in his forever home. Please consider clicking adopt, and we can skip away into the sunset and live happily ever after.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   I am Finlay, a cheerful 2 year old Lab/Jindo mix from S.Korea. I'm 44 lb and 24 inches tall. Whan I was first found wandering the streets I was brought to a high-kill dog pound and given a short window of time to be adopted. Since the local people consider me a big dog and therefore undesirable, I had no applications and was put on the euthanasia list.  But my friendly personality caught the eye of a volunteer who got me out of there in time and I am now safe in the care of a private rescue group. I am the kind of dog who is comfortable with everyone, whether it be people or dogs.  Even people I have never met can approach me and I'll happily let them touch me all over.  If you have older children I would enjoy being around them and I think they'd really like my happy-go-lucky personality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMdFilN6nlI&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGNAlGtoEeCg43d2dQPDJF_&index=2 In terms of energy I have just about the right amount. Plenty of it for walks or playing with other dogs, but I'm also good at calmly relaxing when I'm back in my pen. If you wanted to, I bet you could teach me to play fetch or frisbee; I'm up for anything fun. That's just the kind of dog I am; fun-loving and affectionate.  In my world every day is sunshine and rainbows! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWw6Q6ydOHc&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGNAlGtoEeCg43d2dQPDJF_&index=3 My enthusiasm for life also makes me curious about other creatures so when I was introduced to a cat I wanted to get a good sniff to check it out. If you have a sensitive cat they may not take kindly to my intrusive behaviour - just something to think about.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYpHZANEhIs&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGNAlGtoEeCg43d2dQPDJF_&index=6 So there you have it folks, I'm hoping that you recognize a good dog when you see one.  You really can't go wrong with picking me to be your next best friend. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   It's my lucky day!  That's because you are out there somewhere and you are thinking of adopting me.  It's true isn't it - I can feel it. My name is Gambol. I'm a two year old Jindo mix from S.Korea. My height is 20 inches and I weigh 40lb.  I was found at a dog meat farm. My rescuer had actually gone there in search of another dog, Davey, when she learned his owner had sold him for meat. When she showed up she was amazed to find not only Davey, but another dog who looked identical - me!  She decided to save us both. It really is uncanny how alike we look, so there's a chance we may actually be brothers.  After my rescue I was sent to a special board-and-train centre for three months. This is a facility that helps prepare dogs for future lives as domestic pets and I'm proud to tell you I have successfully completed my training and now I'm ready for adoption. Of course, I could still benefit from ongoing obedience training.  Since I've been here I've realized just how great it feels to be with people. I really like you guys!  When one of you scratches me under the chin, or around my neck, I'm in heaven! Feel free to give me lots of that kind of attention, please. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIs6zfE3yPw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGOhg2cWvCKpA1zC2MYpqqu&index=4 I have lots of energy and enjoy running around and playing with other dogs. I am still learning how to greet dogs politely so it's always a good idea to monitor new dog introductions. After the initial hello's are over with, I love to get into the full-on playtime, as you can see in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXfQMfVxh74&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGOhg2cWvCKpA1zC2MYpqqu&index=3 I have been introduced to cats and they made me a touch nervous, but I guess I could get used to one if I had to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1RhKgmsQlM&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGOhg2cWvCKpA1zC2MYpqqu&index=5 If you love going for walks, then we have a lot in common.  It's one of my favourite activities and I'm told I'm fairly good on leash - whatever that means.  Hopefully you can teach me to understand English by repeating over and over "what a good boy".     I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 + applicable taxes, includes my airfare to Canada. Golpari Breed: Golden Retriever/Lab Age: 5 yrs Gender: fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 51 lbs / 25-1/2 inches Energy level: moderate Relations: good with dogs, kids / unknown cats Highlights: Super sweet, people oriented I was found as a young pup of maybe 5 months old, living by the city garbage dump. I had very bad mange, as you can see by my photo. The people whom saved me transferred me over to a shelter. There, they treated me for mange, but each summer it came back. Until finally, they got some great stuff from the US to use. Now, my mange problem is gone and my fur has grown back in beautifully. See my bright Auburn coat? My rescuer says whoever adopts me won't be sorry. The shelter says I am the  sweetest, kindest dog around. I act real cute too. Here I am at the shelter: https://youtu.be/fZ0yWNOCeGg. I am loveable to people, dogs and even kids. I haven't been around cats though, so best a non kitty home, because I just have no idea how I would react to one. I am a playful girl too, so we should be able to have some good fun. I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   I am Goofy. No, silly, that's my name, not my nature - though I do have a funny side. (It's my left one - heehee!)  O.K, enough with the wise cracks, let's get to the facts: I am about 4 years old, weigh 29lb and I'm 20 inches tall.  The first thing I want you to know about me is that I really love human beings. And this, despite the fact that when animal control found me, I was shut in a small cage in a high-kill shelter and watched people pass me by without so much as a second glance! I wanted to be out of there so badly that I gnawed at the iron bars until my I wore down my incisors.  Thankfully one of you lovely people realised that I deserved a future and I have now been brought to a much nicer shelter where I have a chance to indulge my affection for humans.  I like to meet all sorts of people and will look at them and give them my best smile, hoping for extra scratches and attention.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZDMYTuzGcM&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFTBi2hVTtAIW_EUQ6BqiNT&index=2 Until now I haven't had a lot of opportunity to enjoy the company of other dogs. I can be a little shy at first, so it would be good for me to spend more time with dog friends and learn how to play and have fun.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6eJnjzUHgU&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFTBi2hVTtAIW_EUQ6BqiNT&index=3 When I met a cat I was friendly but polite. I think it could be quite pleasant to share a home with a friendly cat.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dImM_EM3uw8&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFTBi2hVTtAIW_EUQ6BqiNT&index=6 If you offer to take me for a walk, I will be over the moon. What a fantastic combination - being with you while walking! Mind you, I'm not a super high energy dog; you don't have to walk me for hours or take me running. I would say I'm a dog of medium energy.  I have a hearty appetite but don't have a problem with food guarding. Although it's hard to say you're house-trained when you live at a shelter, let's just say I prefer to 'do my business' outdoors.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJCdWCrST_M&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFTBi2hVTtAIW_EUQ6BqiNT&index=7 My carer says she gets a kick out of seeing me play or run outside because she feels I'm a dog who had never had the opportunity to have fun before.  I have a feeling my future life will be lots of fun. What do you think?   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, My adoption fee of $500 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Gumdrop (Gandom) Breed: Whippet mix Age: 1-1/2 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 23 inches Energy level: moderate to high Relations: good with dogs / kids & cats unknown Highlights: Energetic, smart, sweet Region: Middle East Region: Middle East A person found me here in the Middle East and saw the bone of my back leg was sticking out from my muscle and it was bleeding a lot. This rescuing angel knew I was in great pain, because I was constantly screaming. She brought me to the doctor and had my leg operated on. Sadly, they could not entirely fix the damage and so my leg was cut off above the infection point to avoid the infection spreading to my body. So, here I am a tripaw... but I am alive. I tend to be a kind hearted girl to others, whether it is people or other dogs. https://youtu.be/9UXI_AhV0Zw. Not sure about cats, I have never been introduced to one yet. I am certainly friendly, but I would likely want to chase one. I love people so much, I am sure I would be fine with kids too. I enjoy playing and playing and playing some more. I do not seem to need rest, maybe I am the original Energizer bunny. Look at my cheery face, ready to brighten your day. https://youtu.be/O1Grad1JbrM. It is likely an apartment would not be the best situation. Probably the best home would be one that is quite active. Folks who are constantly up and about, going places and doing things. Gee, the dog park would provide us hours of fun things to do. Oh, I bet we could try many things. You will have to gauge how strenuous an activity I can do. But, I will want to try it all. Hiking in the forest, running on the beach, let's go. Oooh, I so want to be able to really run around, not be stuck in a shelter with limited area to run. Having a yard for my energy level is probably an important thing. If you had plenty of space, that would be soooo special, especially if you had a dog friend already there to play with. Please bring me to Canada soon, before I go stir crazy here. I could provide you with endless amusement. Newer vid: https://youtu.be/Du7W1PFAh70   I am spayed/neutered, *vaccinated and microchipped. Applications will only be considered if you live in the B.C interior and can easily meet Hobbs several times.   Hiya! My name is Hobbs and I am an adorable combo of Lab and White Shepherd, originally from the streets of Kuwait. I am a 1-year old handsome lad, weighing about 50 pounds and standing 17” at the shoulders. I used to live on the streets of Kuwait with my friends and we all knew where and when the kind shelter volunteers would leave food and water for us.  Being the friendly guy that I am, I always enjoyed it when I got a little attention from these people and after a while, I started to think that it might be a better plan to just stick with them. I followed them back to their car and hopped in. Pretty bold of me, wasn't it! As it happens, I was very lucky that day, because now the authorities have started a horrific campaign of poisoning stray dogs.  After a few months in a Kuwait shelter I came to Canada and went to live with a nice family in Vancouver.  Much as they loved me, they felt I needed a different home that was better equipped to fit my needs. At the time, I was very over-protective of young kids and had some resource-guarding tendencies. Little did they know, I just had an anxiety problem! This was later realized when I was staying with my Foster Dad. My foster dad and vet put me on some anti-anxiety meds, and I was a changed doggy!! Good news is these medications only cost about $25/month; a small price to pay in exchange for my improved behaviour :) This is what my foster dad said about me: "Young Hobbs is doing wonderfully on his new anxiety medications! He is a happy puppy now! He plays great with the other dogs and is very happy to meet new people; although he can be worried and shy around teenagers, especially males. Hobbs can still get a little growly when he is startled or scared of something but is easily comforted. He walks great on and off leash, he has good recall and is very well trained. He's cuddly and very affectionate and overall a wonderful companion!!" I was lucky enough to get adopted a few months ago, but recently I have started to not get along with my fur-sister. Turns out that I can be a bit picky about who I share my house with and can become reactive if it's not a great fit. In this case, my fur-sister was a bit dog-reactive herself, so we were not a good match. Don't get me wrong, I still would LOVE to have a fur-sibling in my household; they just need to be a calm and well-balanced pooch. If my fellow housemate is calm and chill (but still enjoys to play, hehe), I'm sure we could be a great fit! Most importantly, I need to live with a confident, experienced dog owner who can help me thrive in my new home.   My current adopters are so sad to part with me, however they know that I deserve to live in a home where I get along with my sibling(s). This is what my adopter says about me: "Hobbs loves to roll over for belly rubs or give hugs at any given time. He rests his head as close as he can to you while in the car and is always looking for cuddles and attention. He walks fantastic on leash and is awesome running alongside a bike! He has a moderate level of energy; he doesn't need hours of exercise every day-- just some walks or a run or a bike ride will suffice! Then he's happy to cuddle up next to you for some zzz's." I am a smart boy who loves to learn and would probably do really well in agility classes or some other kind of stimulating activity. I know all my basic commands: sit, stay, down, back-up, and my recall is good.  If you like to ride your bike, then maybe I could join you. Running alongside on leash is something my people have taught me to do and I really enjoy it! Other activities I love are jumping on the trampoline (yes, really!) and playing tug-o-war. Because of my energetic nature I'm really not suited to apartment living.  PLEEASEEE come and meet me; I know you’ll fall in love with my youthful energy and endless cuddles! I will be a loyal companion to you, I promise!    Here's a video of me running along side my previous owner's bike -- aren't I a good boy?! (   )   These videos were taken by my original adopter and they show you how much fun I can have on the trampoline: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoHJ_s5s6kE&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egAnZNDhP4I&feature=youtu.be   Here's one of me doing some training: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipMR0ofkeYwCuwg3QNXDS2ZIHn3QecncOORVZdChrCXu0jptMFsDvU6rDSpQ4cj-6w?key=VnJPOC1sZjFLMXlRVG1aZzBGV2hPQnhsaGYzeFB3     I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee is $550CAD + applicable taxes.   Looking for more furry friends?
