BIRGITTA (Brigitte)
Breed: Aidi mix (Atlas Shepard dog)
Gender: fe, spayed
Age: 3 years old
Wgt/Hgt: 42 lbs/almost 25-1/2 inches
Relations: Scared of other dogs/good with kids (per policy)/unknown cats
Activity Level: Moderate to somewhat active
Highlights: Loves people, food motivated (great for training), calm temperament
Region: Middle East

Sometimes bad things happen that lead to wonderful opportunities... that is my story. I was involved in a serious car accident here in the Middle East and the people who found me thought it best to put me down as my treatment would be too costly, but lucky for me there were others willing to step in and help with the surgery costs.

But my story does not end there. It was not long before they came to learn I also had parvovirus. Things did not look good for me. But I am a survivor and after months of care I was finally strong enough to undergo the extensive surgery I needed.

The surgeon had very little hope I would walk again, but again I amazed them ! With physiotherapy and lots of love, I was able to regain the use of my legs quite well if I may say so myself. I do drag my back leg a bit but it adds to my charm - check out my video.  https://youtu.be/KwmvoM9yLPs. Now I am running too https://youtu.be/qaFU1lT28HE.

When I was living on the street food was scarce, so now I will eat and eat and eat ... I am very food motivated. Bet you could use that to your advantage to teach me lots of tricks.

Next to food my favourite thing is tummy rubs and will drop whatever I am doing to get one of those!

I am a people pleaser and love all of you two legged creatures .. especially the youngsters - I very much enjoy playing with children. It’s the four legged ones I am not too sure about. Other dogs scare me a bit but with time I will warm up to them and welcome these new friends too. I  am never aggressive just fearful. https://youtu.be/690U-kbYCEM.

No one is 100% sure how I will react to cats, as there are none here at my new foster, but one of the rescue volunteers remembers me during my time on the street and never once witnessed any aggression by me towards the cats that approached my food. But if that is important to you, they have promised to try their best to introduce me once our world opens up again. I have encountered cats on my walks with my foster and I do pull but it is thought it is out of curiousity not aggression.

This lock down is hard on everyone. But here at my foster, with Parvo in my past, I have blossomed into a healthy happy dog with a calm temperament full of love for everyone. My foster thinks I am just the sweetest dog around.

Now it is time for a new chapter, the one that has lead me here... one I hope, involves a forever home in Canada with you !

I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.
My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD + applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada.

Hiya! I’m Myla, a beautiful Saluki Mix pup from Bahrain. I am two years old, weigh 55 pounds, and stand about 65cm tall. Aren’t I purdyyy? My rescuers describe me as a sweet and energetic dog who enjoys walks and cuddles – oh how I LOVES the cuddles! I am gentle with everyone I meet; hoomans, doggos, and kitty cats. Well, I may not be super excited about kitty cats, but as you can see from my video… I don’t seem remotely bothered by their presence.  What’s my story? I was rescued as a puppy (along with my mama and my three siblings) and have been living with my dog fam ever since. My mama (Sophia) was recently adopted and even though I’ll miss her soooo much, I’m so happy that she has a loving home to go to. I have doggy dreams of being adopted myself! Would you please consider giving me a furever home?  I LOVE my people and will always be more than happy to come to you for affection, food, or fun!   Being a young dog, I love to exercise! Perhaps we could check out some dog parks or some of the hiking trails I’ve heard so much about? I’m pretty chill once I’ve had my daily walk... maybe I could have a big comfy bed to cuddle up on while I nap?  My sweet face and loving nature makes me an ideal pupcake for any family or single person. Pleaseeeee give me a home!! I have been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD + applicable taxes, this includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Namaste (Negar) Breed(s): Hound/Blue Heeler Age: 1-1/2 yrs Gender: Fe, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 21-3/4 in Relations: Good with dogs & kids / cats unknown Activity level: moderately active to active Highlights: Tripaw, very gentle demeanor, loves running, quick learner, polite Region: Middle East Namaste is a word you might’ve probably heard more than once, and it happens to be my name too. Isn’t it cool? It is a respectful greeting and I am a girl who shows respect. It’s really nice to know that I’m named after such a positive word, because that’s how I want my life to be from now on: full of positivity and love and just overall happiness. Sadly, the first part of my story wasn’t like that at all. I was found by the forest services the day after the Persian New Year, can you believe it? But well, in the Middle East, it’s not unusual to find cases like mine at any time of the year.    When my rescuer got the call that I was severely injured, she came to see me right away. My foot had been chopped off, so I was in a lot of pain and didn’t want to see anyone. However, there was something special about my rescuer, so I let her pick me up to take me to the vet. The vet couldn’t save my front leg. The infection was spreading fast to my upper body, so I needed to have my leg removed asap. Apparently, someone had hurt me with an axe days before I was rescued, so I lost a lot of blood and was really weak.  The recovery process was long; it took months after the surgery for me to come back to life, but with love, I managed to be fine again. That’s how I became the beautiful tripawd you see on the pictures. Now, I’m completely healthy and I have a very sweet and gentle personality even after everything I went through. I get along with other dogs (even the small ones), and I do like people. My rescuer says I’m mild mannered, so it’s really easy to be around me. What’s not easy, though, is that there’s not much space for me to run around the house. I’m a very energetic girl, and I love exercising. So it’s been complicated for me to get the physical activity I need (my missing leg isn’t a problem, you’ll see).  I love playing with the other dogs in the house (especially my best bud, Poneh, laying in photo with me) and running is my favorite sport. I’m the fastest around! But since it’s not allowed for people to walk their dogs outside in my rescuer’s country, I don’t get to do it often enough. And things don’t seem to be getting better any time soon here. Unfortunately, my rescuer’s husband just had a heart attack. Such a nice guy! So the family is moving closer to the hospital to an even smaller place.  They can’t have me with them anymore, despite them loving me as much as they do. We’re in an emergency state right now, because I’m being moved to a shelter as you read. I really don’t want to stay there for long, I’m a family girl. That’s why I’m here, trying to find a forever home in Canada. I’d love to live with a family that has kids who could play with me and if there’s a fenced yard to run around or someone who could take me out to exercise, I couldn’t be luckier. Also, I’m a very smart girl. I learn things with little effort, so I’m sure we can spend a great time playing, running and learning together. I know I can bring lots of love and happiness to my new home, so go click the “adopt” button. You won’t regret it. I’m not only pretty, but also smart and gentle. I know I can be a great companion. Nana (Mexico) - Pending Adoption

Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hellooo to my future family! My name is Nana, pleasure to meet you! I’m a 1 year old retriever mix from Mexico. I'm an adorable cutie pie and weigh about 45 pounds (perfectly medium, if I do say so myself). Aren’t I a pretty girl? Word on the street is that I’m a total sweetheart too! My rescuers describe me as playful, happy, and easy-going. My past is a bit of a mystery, but if it was anything like most other strays in Mexico, it probably wasn’t ideal. Strays often struggle to survive in the hot streets and rarely have enough food or water. Luckily, I’m now safe and sound at the shelter! Although it is not luxurious, at least I have all of my necessities being met. Oh how I’d love to have a home to call my own though. Hanging out at the shelter, surrounded by other dogs, has allowed me to grow into a very tolerant young lady. I love other dogs, although I can be shy upon first introductions. Check out the video of me chillin’ with my doggy friends (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nsTrxRml5g&feature=youtu.be). See, I told you, I’m quite the catch! I long for a home of my own. I love people and I’d love to have endless ear rubs and belly scratches; treats and a cozy bed sound nice too. OOH also I’d love to go for lots of hikes and walks! I’ve heard soooo many good things about the beautiful Pacific North West… it really sounds like my cup of tea (or bowl of kibble, hehe). I’m still a young and youthful dog, so I have a moderate amount of energy. After a daily walk and maybe a trip to the dog park, I will gladly spend the afternoon snoozing beside you on the couch. Do you think you could be my furever family? I’d really like to find them soon! I am spayed and vaccinated. My adoption fee of $550 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   I just know you've been holding your breath, hoping that an adorable little she-bear of a dog would become available. You have, haven't you? Well, no need to wait any longer; here I am. My name is Orsa and I am a 10 month old Jindo/Spitz mix from South Korea. My weight is 29lb and I'm 17 inches tall. I was found on the streets of Pyeongtaek by the animal control people. They took me to the pound and put me up for adoption, but because I am a black dog, nobody here in S.Korea wants me. Why do people care what colour you are?  If it hadn't been for the kind people who rescued me from there, I would have been euthanised. The good news is I am happy and healthy and ready for love. I have lots of it to give in exchange; I'm a dog who loves people. Unlike some rescue dogs, I am even friendly with complete strangers. (Check out my video. You'll notice the name they use is Lexi, but you can choose your own name if you adopt me.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofdii0po1vw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGkwG7XOe64M1Jcp-GVDo91 When introduced to children I'm so happy I'll wiggle my entire body and roll on my back to let them pet my belly. I'd make a good family dog (please note LALDR policy regarding children) and a great walking companion as I'm good on leash. Though I get along fine with other dogs, I'm much more interested in people. That's why I can't wait to have a human family of my own. We'll have so much fun together.  I really enjoy playing with toys, doing nose work and going for walks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UX5BgJfuow&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGkwG7XOe64M1Jcp-GVDo91&index=3 I have been introduced to cats and I admit they made me slightly nervous. I'm sure I'd get used to them if I shared my home with one. I certainly don't have any aggression toward them; I'm a lover not a fighter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX8dpFmJti8&list=PL3UlJJYID8eGkwG7XOe64M1Jcp-GVDo91&index=6 It's a wee bit embarrassing to tell you this, but I sometimes get so excited when I meet people that I release a teeny bit of urine. It's called 'excitement urination' and it's something that I will outgrow. I just thought you should know.  You do still like me, don't you? Anyway, that's enough about me. What matters now is that you get to decide if I'm the one.    I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $600 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. This is NOT a dog belonging to LALDR. This is a courtesy posting. Please do not contact us, as we know nothing about the dog. For more information, please contact ayaladia@ualberta.ca Pancha is a sweet, loving girl rescued and currently living in Mexico. She came to us after a life outside and after being neglected by her previous owner. She has adapted to an inside life quickly and is full of love to give. Pancha has some leash anxiety that she is currently working through: she is great with other dogs in her pack, but barks to other dogs in the street during walks. She would do best in a home with patient, breed savvy owners, that have the love and energy she needs to enjoy her new life indoors. Pancha is very food motivated and learns quickly. She needs some basic recall training. She sits happily for a cookie and to receive her meals. Pancha would be good with dog savvy kids, she grew up playing with kids in the streets of Mexico. She currently lives with two cats and she enjoys following the cats around, but has never been aggressive towards them. If you have experience and think this sweet girl would be a great addition to your family, please contact us. The adoption fees would cover part of Pancha's relocation costs, but vaccination, deworming and spay surgery (all which have been done) are on us!   If you are interested in Pancha, please email ayaladia@ualberta.ca show less

Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Can I please come home with you and snuggle up by your side? That's what I want more than anything - someone to cuddle. My name is Pansy and I have been waiting for someone to adopt me for over 2 years now!! Surely it's my turn. I am 3 1/2 years old, 21lb and 15 inches tall. You can tell from the photo they took when I first arrived that I've put on a few pounds, but I'm hoping that I'll slim down a touch once you start taking me for walks. We don't have a chance to do that here because there are just too many dogs. Instead we get to wander around and play with each other if we feel like it. That must be how those other dogs stay slim, I suppose. Me, I'm more the calm, laid-back kind of dog. Since being picked up as a stray and brought to this busy shelter, I've adjusted to the chaos by finding my inner peace. Maybe I can help you de-stress a little by sitting on your lap or providing soothing vibes while you stroke my fur. Oooh, doesn't that sound good?  Don't get me wrong, I would like a little stroll around the neighbourhood as well. Just don't expect me to go jogging with you. I'm such a mellow girl that I'm sure I could live with your cat or even another dog, if you like. Just please tell me I'll finally get the chance to feel loved.   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   I'm sure you've heard about Pavlov's dog, but now I'd like to introduce you to Pavlov-the-dog - that's me! It is my ardent wish that one look at my smiling face will trigger an instant response in you and you will rush to fill out my adoption application. Woo-hoo, Canada here I come! I am a 4 year old Jindo mix from South Korea. I weigh 53lb and measure 22 inches to my shoulders. Back in the winter of 2015 something wonderful happened that changed my life: I was rescued fro a dog meat market, along with about 100 other dogs.  A villager who lived near the farm reached out to Korean Animal Rescue Association (KARA) and they were able to shut down the entire illegal operation. Some of the dogs had clearly been stolen as they still had the microchips which registered their owner's information. After my rescue I went to a shelter and later I spent three months at the Welcome Paws Academy where I received training to prepare me for my future life in a home. So, now I am more than ready to begin my new life with you.  As far as my nature is concerned, I am a well mannered and calm dog who enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. I am even patient with immature puppies and will walk away from any badly-behaved dogs.  When I meet strangers it doesn't take long before I feel comfortable being petted and I am even more relaxed around children.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62cxuBzlEgc&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFZuE5MZ9-3-lpxUN8RSP3u&index=2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1_jxAxwVRw&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFZuE5MZ9-3-lpxUN8RSP3u&index=3 You could probably even go so far as to say I like cats, but since they tend to avoid dogs if they can, I haven't had the chance to really befriend one of them. But if you happen to have a confident kitty then I'd love to make friends with him or her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xRmpM3W9n4&list=PL3UlJJYID8eFZuE5MZ9-3-lpxUN8RSP3u&index=5 Here are some other things about me that I want to share: I rarely bark, and when taken for walks (which I love), I don't pull on the leash. On top of that I am about 90% house-trained. (The other 10% is only those occasions when I haven't been let outside for too long.) So there you have it folks - my story in a nutshell. There's a whole lot more to me, but I am hoping we can discover all about each other day by day.  It's such an exciting thought.....   I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $500 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hiya friends, Peachy here! I am a purrdyyy 6 year old lab-saluki mix pooch looking for my furever family. I'm 23 inches tall and weigh about 55 pounds - a perfect size, if I do say so myself!  My mama and her 6 newborn pups (including me!) were found on an abandoned worksite near a mall in Sitra in 2014. For a while, a nice local watchman was feeding us and keeping us safe... but then one weekend the whole site got cleared for construction and we had no safe place anymore. Luckily, my rescuer found us, got us in her car, and tried to get us adopted. Unfortunately, only 2 of my siblings were adopted, so the rest of us remained in a shelter until 2017. Then BARC (Bahrain Animal Rescue Centre) took us in and they have been trying to find us homes ever since! My rescuers don't know why I haven't been adopted yet; you see, I'm quite the catch! I am excellent with doggies and kitty cats (check out my video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpZ3_M6p_VU&feature=youtu.be ) and I LOVE attention from my hoomans! Ear scratches, belly rubs, couch cuddles, walks... you name it, I love it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO8NHmUJcLE&feature=youtu.be Still not convinced? Check out how I give gentle kisses to people who treat me nice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3yZTUnEMzY&feature=youtu.be Being a youthful middle-aged pup, I will be a great companion for just about anyone! I am pretty mellow after I've had my daily walk and I would loveeee to curl up beside you for a snooze. Sounds pretty awesome, right?! Pretty please won't you be my FUREVER family? I'd forever repay you with kisses, tail wags, and companionship. I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $500 + applicable taxes, which includes my flight to Canada! Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Greetings!! My name is Phoenix and I’m a handsome two-year old collie/lab mix pup from Bahrain. I weigh about 45 pounds (a wee bit chunky, hehe) and have striking white markings on my fur. Not to be biased or anything… but I’m pretty darn awesome, and oh-so cute! I was dumped at the gates of the dog shelter when I was just a small puppy. For some reason, my original hoomans didn’t want a cutie patootie like me! Luckily, Bahrain Animal Rescue Centre (BARC) has been taking such good care of me my whole life… but it’s been almost two years now and oh how I long to have a home to call my own. Boy do they ever love me here! I love people and I’m good with kids (check out my belly rub pictures—that’s my hooman friend who is 10 years old… we get along great!). Good news, I get along well with other dogg-o’s too! I haven’t been tested with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d do around the feline-type.  As a young, energetic dude, I’d love to have an active family to call my own and it would be SWEEET if they had a backyard for me to run around in. As you can see, I have a wee bit of a belly… so I’m going to need healthy snacks and daily walks to get me back into shape (my summer bod awaits!). Ahhh I can see it now: days spent sniffing the fresh Canadian grass, feeling the cool breeze through my soft fur, doggy zoomies around my yard, perhaps chasing a ball… OOH add in some belly rubs and yummy treats… WOW, yeah that sounds gooooood! Looking for a four-legged companion? Want lots of doggy kisses and active adventures? Look no further, please adopt me! I promise to repay you with tail wags and unconditional love! Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Poneh Breed: English Shepherd Mix Age: 1 yr Gender: Female, spayed Wgt/Hgt: 44 lbs / 22 inches Energy level: Moderate to active Relations: Good with Dogs & Children / Unknown Cats Highlights: Friendly, playful, gentle Region: Middle East I am a wonderfully gentle girl. From pitiful puppy to playful princess: I've come a long way from my troubled start in life, in the Middle East. At only four weeks old, I was tossed out like trash at the local dump where garbage is burned. Luckily, my rescuers found me along with another puppy. We were both in very bad shape, and my friend didn't make it. It was a long journey back to health, but I am a survivor. My rescuers had hoped to keep me, but due to a health crisis in the family, they had to give me up to a shelter. As part of my healing process, I was shaved - but it's grown back in now. I'm a gorgeous girl with a beautiful coat and distinctive markings. Now that I'm healthy, all I want is a home to call my own. Do you have a playful pup at home who would like a friend? I get along with dogs of all sizes. You can see me and my best buddy, Namaste hanging out in one of the photos together. I currently live with ten other dogs! I've impressed my foster family with how gentle I am with children and small dogs. I would love to have a playmate - I love to run and play. My ideal family would take me on long walks, hikes or trips to the dog parks. I wouldn't say no to a backyard to play in either. More than anything, I want to experience being part of a family. I'd love to play, and cuddle, and lounge with my people. It would be amazing to have toys, snacks and a big fluffy bed. I have a fighting spirit and a beautiful temperament. I also have a lot of love to give. If you are ready for this fluffy bundle of joy, just click Adopt, and I'll hop on a plane as soon as I can! I'm quite the waggy tail girl: https://youtu.be/aAMgFbmKfj0.   I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is  $550.00 CAD + applicable taxes, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.  show less

This is my big chance to get your attention and I don't want to blow it.  I'm giving you my best 'please-love-me' look and just hoping you'll see that I could be your special girl. I am a two year old, 42lb, 26 inch tall, Pointer mix from Bahrain and I am so ready to share my life with you. My two siblings and I were found in the scorching hot sun in the middle of a field when we were just tiny puppies, about a week old. Our mom was nowhere to be found and we were starving and dehydrated. Luckily our cries drew the attention of some people who brought us home. We were hand reared by our rescuers and have lived in the spare room and garden of their home ever since.  I know this is not the same as actually living in the house where the family pet lives; we don't get nearly as much time and attention from the people who live here; but it's better than living on the streets like many dogs do. But, oh how I long to be able to sit beside my person while they watch t.v, or curl up in my bed while you sleep beside me in yours. And what a dream it would be to go for regular walks and explore the neighbourhood together. That's the kind of life I hope to have one day, if I'm lucky. My rescuers have been spending time teaching me important skills to help make me adoptable. Like how to walk nicely on leash, how to respond to commands like 'sit', 'down', 'paw'.  They have also taught me to be comfortable in a crate.  I'm the kind of dog who gets very attached to the people I spend time with. Despite being a little too big for it, I like to climb onto my carer's lap if she'll let me. I'm really a bit of a softie, I admit it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mzz77Cv4yUQ&feature=youtu.be When it comes to meeting other dogs I tend to be on the timid side, though in preparation for my future life my guardians are starting to take me on more pack walks and introducing me to new dogs.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5NRcCGNwO0&feature=youtu.be My future home should be one where I am the only dog because, despite my generally timid nature with dogs outside the home, I can get possessive of my food and space. To tell the truth it would be heavenly for me to have human companions who will finally give me the love and attention I long for, and I really don't want to share that with another dog. (Or cat, for that matter.) I am not a high energy dog but I do love going for walks. And if you happen to live near water or have a play-pool in the yard, I'd love to cool off with a splash around in it. When I first arrive in your world I'm likely to be a little nervous. Everything will be so different. I tend to look for comfort from my human guardians so I do hope you won't mind if I squeeze myself up onto your lap for a cuddle. Please let me be your special girl. I just know you're out there somewhere waiting to find me.    I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada. Due to current travel restrictions related to Covid19 there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are prepared to wait.   Hello from Shanghai!  I am Puffin, a one year old Spaniel/mini-Australian-Shepherd mix found abandoned on the city streets. I'm 18lb and 16 inches tall. Since being brought to the shelter I have had to learn to live with a lot of other dogs. There are all kinds here; every shape and size imaginable. It's noisy and crowded and some dogs find it very intimidating, but I seem to be able to take it all in my stride. I guess that means I'm fairly confident.  I'm sure it will still be a big adjustment when I come to live with you, but I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy getting lots of attention. It feels pretty good when one of the staff here has a spare moment to give me a little scratch under my chin, or a quick cuddle.  Any chance you might be interested in doing that on a fairly regular basis, do you think? The other day they took me in a room to meet something called a cat. I was hoping she would be more interesting than she proved to be. It seems to me cats are pretty dull so I really wouldn't care one way or another if I end up living with one. Once you've reminded me what it's like to go for walks on a leash (I haven't done that since arriving at the shelter), I think I'm really going to enjoy exploring the neighbourhood with you. I'm quite a curious dog and I take a lot of  pleasure in sniffing out information about my surroundings. You'll probably find I'm the perfect size for taking everywhere. I hope so, because I have a feeling we're going to become very attached to one another.  I'll be here, just waiting for the day I get on the plane to come and live with you.   I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $550 + applicable taxes includes my airfare to Canada Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website,  http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/  and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.    Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters.
