About Coco Chanel

Adoption Fee: $350.00

Searching for my best friend! Coco Chanel is a 3 yo, 15lb miniature pinscher (min pin) mix. She was picked up as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter.  However, she has clearly lived in a home and was well loved. Since her family didn’t find her, PAW stepped up.

Coco Chanel is very sweet and friendly. She greets everyone with kisses. She loves to sleep in your lap or cuddle in a blanket.  She is housetrained. She enjoys walks on a leash or playing in the yard. She loves chasing stuffed toys and will bring them back to you. She gets along well with her foster family’s dogs.

Coco Chanel could live with adults or even a family with older children. Because she bonds strongly with her family, she might not do as well in an apartment, unless someone is frequently home. Contact PAW for more information.

Jack is a 1.5 year old hound who is 52 lbs.  He came to PAW because he was bred to be a hunting dog but was scared of the sounds of gunshots. He is a total love and hasn’t met a person or dog he doesn’t like (at least not yet!). He has a lot of energy and would love an active family to welcome him into their home.  Some facts about Jack: He thinks he’s a 10 pound dog, and likes to play that way. He has no idea how big he is.  He’s been in a home environment before, and is very comfortable on a couch or ottoman, but is easily scared of machines like an automatic trash can or garage door. He also doesn’t appear to have experience with stairs.  He’s super silly, and very much has puppy playfulness in him.  He thinks winter hats are toys.  He is an aggressive chewer, and will need tough bones/toys.  He’s housebroken and very comfortable in a crate. He likes to be with his pack.  He’s great with kids, and isn’t aggressive at all, but he doesn’t have any manners so he can just push and knock the little ones down very easily.  As such, a family with older kids or an adult-only home would be ideal. His hunting/prey drive is very high. He may not do well in a home with a cat but we don’t know for sure. He has a lovely, very loud, howl/bark/bey. On a morning walk, he saw some deer and probably woke up the whole neighborhood! If you are interested in adopting Jack, submit an application now! show less
