Bowzer is a sweet, shy boy who has a lot of love to give! He loves wet food and treats, and these help him overcome his bashful nature quite quickly. He loves head scratches and pom poms that he can bat around. He was rescued from a hoarding case and has a slight tremor, but he doesn't let it hold him back, though it does make him move a little slower sometimes. He likes being around other cats, but sometimes struggles keeping up with his roommates at playtime, so he may do better in a home where he can have a little extra time to develop his playing and pouncing skills. This stunning girl is definitely the queen of the castle! Cantera spends her day atop the cat tree looking at her village of toys. Her dough making skills are expert level and she loves to show off her tummy. Her purr motor is constantly running and those ear tufts are to die for 😻 Cantera is a stunning 2 year old, black and white tuxedo girl (born 3/28/17). She came to us nursing her four kittens and was an outstanding mom. Cantera is ready for a new home now that all of her kittens have left her nest and found wonderful homes of their own. Her favorite toy is the ball track tower, but she also loves mice and balls. The taller the cat tree, the better, this girl loves to be up high. This sweet soul spent the first few years of his life scrounging the streets and making babies! It didn’t take long for him to develop street smarts and start leading a pack of his own. His foster mom spent a year earning his trust through feedings and long visits to the dumpster where he and his colony were residing. Although this guy seemed to be doing fine, she knew he was too sweet to continue the life of a street cat. Hi, I'm Daisy!  A few months back I somehow ended up at a very scary place called animal control.  I don't remember how I got there but it was really loud and they put me into a metal cage that I did not like at all!!  People said somebody must have cared about me in the past because I was already spayed, but nobody came to claim me. My eye was really hurting, too, so one day a nice lady came and took me to see a veterinarian.  They decided real quick that my eye wasn't working at all so it was best to remove it, that way it won't ever bother me again.  After that, I had to go back into the metal cage again and I still didn't like it.   Finally, I got to get out of my cage and go to a place called a foster home and let me tell you, I absolutely love living in a home with people!  I feel like my old fabulous self again, I get to run around and play anytime I want and lounge in front of the sunny window all day!   My favorite toy is a feather wand but I like the cat dancer, too, oh and the turbo chaser, and sparkly pom poms... okay so honestly, I like most all the toys!  I'm not a huge fan of dried catnip, but I sure do like those catnip flavored treats.  I want my forever home to have a cat tree in front of a window, that's my favorite place to be when I'm not playing.  I love watching the birds outside until I get tired then I catnap for a while.  In the evenings I like to cozy up beside my person for some petting.  She says my fur is velvety soft, I think that must be a good thing!  Sometimes I don't like my belly rubbed but I will let you know when I'm not in the mood (so no young children, please!).  Right now in my foster home I have a kitty roommate and we get along pretty well, although I would be perfectly fine to have an entire family all to myself as the only kitty!  Or maybe a nice calm kitty brother to live with?   Please remember, if you want me to be a member of your family, I cannot be boarded in a cage when you go away for trips, you will need to have a friendly petsitter come by and attend to my daily needs!  Thank you for reading my story!  I hope you will want to come meet me soon so I can wow you with my awesome personality and my amazingly soft fur!!  I am a teeny pocket panther, and it shows. A super independent lady, I prefer the company of myself to others. I do like to be petted once I warm up to my human, but I'm much more of a one person panther than an all around lovebug like some of my other siblings. I like to do the regular panther things...you know, skulk in the shadows, chase prey (feathers, balls, toys) and survey my lands. I run really fast, especially when food is involved but if you like to snuggle you've got the wrong girl. Please don't pick me up, unless you want to hear my mighty roar, but I will let you pet me when I'm not being held. I will also keep you safe from tiny prey! My foster mom says I'm going to be a good "mouser" one day, though I don't yet know what that means. If it has anything to do with hunting though, I'm a pro! I may be small, but boy am I mighty!  I may still be a little (a lot) scared of strange animals that are bigger and louder than me...shh...don't tell anyone though! I don't really know what that means but they promise I'll be just fine and it's not going to make my life any shorter. I do know it hasn't slowed me down, not one bit! I purr like a music box once you get me going, but due to my upbringing I'm just a bit shy. Trust isn't too hard to earn though, and it will be well worth the work you put into it. Keppra came to us as a kitten rescued from a feral colony. When rescued, she had a wolfworm (a parasite) in her neck that the vet believed was causing seizures. Keppra is a special needs kitty because she may have some mental deficiency as a result of the seizures; she will sometimes stare off as if she is in a daze. A MRI also shown she has some muscle atropy which is uncommon for her young age, but everything else looked normal. Keppra is currently on meds for seizures. Hi!  My name is Kona.  Some of you may remember me from the first time I was a Purr Nation kitty.  My housemate, Magenta and I were returned to Purr Nation through no fault of our own.  Although we look a little bit alike, Magenta and I are not litter mates.  One of us is a little older than the other but I'm not saying which one. Hello! My name is Luna! When I first arrived at Purr Nation I had 4 beautiful kittens. I was the best mom to them and they all grew up healthy and strong! They all have been adopted and I’m looking for my furrever home now. Before I could be adopted, I had to get spayed and have a dental cleaning. After I got my teethies cleaned I came down with a yucky head cold and did not want to eat, drink, or play at all. Purr Nation took me to the best doctor around and she made me all better. I do have a little scar on my neck right now from my lifesaving treatment, but that will disappear in no time. Since then, I have been back to my loving, playful self and could not be happier. I am the most lovey, cuddly kitty you will ever meet. My favorite spot to be is in your lap or on your chest. I love my face and neck petted. I will greet you at the door and chirp and talk to you until you give me pets. My favorite toys are mouse toys, balls, chirping toys, and anything with cat nip. I love to scratch on my cardboard scratchers and my favorite spot to sleep is in my comfy, plush kitty bed. I prefer to be the only kitty lady in your life, but I get along very well with dogs. Humans are my favorite companion by far. I can be a little sassy at times, but I always give you kisses after to make up for it. Massimo is a gentle and sweet boy. He is a laid back boy just looking for a calm home to enjoy. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home (but prefers to watch them play versus getting in on the action) and doesn't mind most dogs; however, prefers a home without young children. He would do well as a single cat too. He loves to hang out on the window perch and watch the all the birds and critters outside. Massimo will always remind you when it's time for canned food w/ his sweet meows and, typically loves to curl up under the coffee table for his late morning naps. He doesn't mind if you slip him a little snack of what you're eating either.... but he will never take it without asking. He brings a non threatening disposition to other cats and quickly settles in his rank. When the hustle of the house is too much, he will find a quiet spot to relax until things die down but is fairly social throughout the day. Wow, you wouldn't believe the journey I've had (and I'm only 9 months old!). You see, I was born somewhere on a far off land, I really don't remember my mom but I was told I was going to this rescue place. I was so excited because they told me I would have the chance to find a family of my very own. But, it was not a good rescue...I was hoarded in a small house with over 100 other cats. I tried to make the best of it, making friends with the other kitties, and always begging for attention whenever someone would come but time just passed...... But one day, this really awesome rescuer came in the door and I knew this was my chance for a better life! I wasn't going to pass this opportunity up and trotted (ok, ran like a crazy horse..) and jumped up on her shoulder! And they picked me!!! I got a freedom ride to this amazing place called a foster home! There, I thrived with my other rescued friends and "brother" Preto. I had to go through a strict quarantine because we had to be sure I was healthy and ready for adoption but it wasn't bad at all! I had all these toys, delicious canned food, and the best part, human love! Ah, I just love it. I need it. I want to be all over people and show them how grateful I am to have all these wonderful things. I seriously am the happiest little panther you'll ever meet! Just ask the volunteers how awesome I am.
