About Fayth The Fall Frolic Litter Mommy

My name is Fayth.  My foster mom named me that so I would have faith in humans again.  You see, I was pregnant and dropped at a kill shelter where I delivered 6 beautiful babies all alone😢. No one knows why I was given to the kill shelter?  Thankfully Charlie’s Crusaders pet Rescue saved me and my babies.  I am now in Bucks County PA with my babies that haven’t been adopted yet.  I am getting spayed on 11/22/19 and then I need to go through heart worm treatment ☹️. I am a small girl, weighing about 30lbs, a bit timid but wanting to be loved and cared for furever.  I like dogs, cats and children, but remember, I’m shy, so I take a little bit to warm up to you😉

Meet Big Daddy! This guy took 4 whole months to capture! He was found as a stray who ran with Big Momma and was leery of humans. We can only imagine how long they were out there fending for themselves.  We did not give up on them, we kept feeding them and earned their trust until we were able to capture both safely. Big Daddy was super unsure about us, but never in an aggressive manor. We took him to the vet for shots and a physical and all was well except he came back HW positive, so he is currently being treated for that.  A couple days later, this beautiful  76 lb of mush came out!  He has not stopped smiling since and his tail is forever wagging!  For someone who didn’t want to be rescued he’s sure loving it now and thankful every day for his second chance at life with people who actually love him and care about him. The last picture in his bio is when he was given his first doggie bed and looked up at the foster confused and unsure.  You can see from that photo to the photo of him now,  what a HUGE difference love has made in his life!  His foster mom can’t say enough about him.  He’s estimated to be 4/5 years old. He is now neutered and UTD on all shots. He is available for adoption and is currently being fostered in Mississippi waiting his furever home or a willing foster home in the PA/NJ area. If you are interested in Big Daddy go to charliescrusaders.org to apply today! Or any questions about him please message us on a Facebook at Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue ! . He is still available for adoption and is currently being fostered in Mississippi until he finds his forever home or a willing foster in The the PA/NJ area. Meet Harley! He and his sister, Quinn, were abandoned at a veterinarian's office in Arkansas. This handsome fella is super sweet, and just a little bit nutty. Harley must have had a rough start to life because he is super anxious around new people, so not many people have gotten to see how awesome he is. Because of this, a first time meet and greet will not show his loving personality. Because he isn’t comfortable with new people, a house with young children or frequent visitors probably isn’t the best fit for him. Once Harley does let you into his circle he will climb into your lap for some loving. He has a very stoic face and doesn’t give kisses, but he loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for some. When he looks at you with his chocolatey eyes, your heart will melt. He is very intelligent, but not always the best listener. His foster parents are working on that. He loves romping with his foster brother, so a home with another dog might make him feel more comfortable. He is in a house with cats and is quite curious about them. He does try to run over to them to say “hi,” but doesn’t do anything to hurt them. Harley likes to entertain himself by tossing his toys in the air and then pouncing on them. It’s quite entertaining for his foster parents as well. When it’s time for him to go to his crate he will go right in and sit down (for a treat of course). Because we don’t know his history, we don’t know his exact age. He is estimated to be about 15 months old (as of 11/21/19). He is between 60 and 65lbs and is fully grown, neutered and up to date on shots. Harley is a total sweetheart, and just needs someone willing to give him a little extra time to get used to them. He’s totally worth the wait! show less

Meet Jazzy! Jazzy is a 6 year old Domestic Short Hair cat that is ready for adoption! Jazzy is currently with a wonderful family that took her in around August of 2018 after another family that had taken her in off the street could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, while Jazzy was a love bug with her new humans, she was predatory toward her new elderly cat sister. After almost a year of trying to unite the house (and being sequestered to the second floor), Jazzy needs a new home where she can roam free and gets lots of love. Jazzy is incredibly affectionate and can be known to drool when she is enjoying a snuggle fest with her family. Jazzy has a kitten’s playfulness, so watch your hair ties because she will steal them! She bonds very quickly and will be an excellent companion to any family. Jazzy isn’t a big fan of playing with her younger puppy brother (he is big!) but a swat or two is all she will do to escape his slobber. Most of the time she just ignores him. Jazzy lived with two dogs and two cats in a small apartment prior to her current family and never showed aggression with those animals so ee believe her behavior toward the elderly cat is one of dominance and not a chronic issue with other animals. Jazzy is around 6 years old, up to date on her shots, spayed, and litter trained. Jazzy is in Yarley, PA and ready to be your next cuddle buddy! Jett  About a year old probably Shepherd/Pit mix. He is a laid back, very intelligent, quiet guy who just wants to be with you 24/7. He was rescued off the streets of Memphis,TN. His new mommy who rescued him planned on keeping him, but sadly she passed away shortly after rescuing him. He came to his foster mom quiet, shy, and craving love. It did not take him long to become one of the best snuggle buddies there ever was and is happy to lay with you all day on the couch, follow you around the house so he knows where you are, or going on a walk/shopping. He is protective of his foster mom and will try to pull her away from the other dogs in his foster home when they get too rowdy. He is quick to learn commands. He knows sit, working on down. Walks well on a leash. He is a work in progress with manners but will sit for his meals now.  **NOT CAT FRIENDLY** Small dogs seem ok with him and does well with other dogs when introduced properly and given the chance to warm up to the dog. He currently lives with 3 other dogs who he gets along with but may be better if he is the only dog in his furever home. He loves to romp and play with his foster brother. He likes going out and meeting people. He seems to do really well with kids when he meets them .He's a litlle afraid of men and will be shy and timid at first.  Special considerations:  He does have a leg that was injured pretty bad at some point and it healed up wrong. He has had two opinions from two different vets saying that surgery is not needed unless it starts affecting how he gets around and his overall quality of life. He gets along very well despite it. He may not be the dog for you if you want a running partner, but does love going on walks. He is on glucosamine tablets to maintain his hip joint to help aleviate any arthritis. It was recommended he be given a high quality glucosamine supplement for the rest of his life to help prevent further damage as long as possible. He needs anxiety meds if he has to be crated (he goes crazy being put in a crate and will still get out of the crate unless drastic measures are taken to keep it closed!    Does well in the house without being crated.  We believe he would thrive in a home where someone is there most of the time. He’s been left behind so many times he gets anxious when left alone.  A retired couple to take him wherever they go? Or someone that’s able to take him to work with them and just lay his dog bed in the corner next to them? He’s definitely a love bug and just needs a human he can Velcro himself too.  He LOVES car rides as well.  He is Currently being fostered in the Mechanicsburg, PA area and available for meet and greets!!!  If you would love to be Jett’s forever buddy, please go to charliescrusaders.org to apply.  Any questions , please message us on Facebook at Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue! Another note from his Forster:  His foster mom has come to love him and would love to be able to at least get updates on him and how he is doing. He will be missed. show less
