About Sylvester

Adoption Fee: $395.00

Sylvester is a beautiful and sweet boy, though he can be timid in new situations. He is a smart, playful pup, who loves to be petted and to give kisses. He does great in his crate for 4-6 hours at a time, but may bark or whine when he needs to potty, and will sing and dance when you come to let him out of the crate. He is also doing well with potty training, and hasn’t had an accident in the house for several weeks. He is good with other dogs, but has a high prey drive and is overstimulated by cats, so he would do best in a home without them. He has been great with the children he has met, and just wants to give them kisses.

Chico is actually a Chica, and she is the sweetest little chica on the planet! She was given up by her owners in Kansas after they got mad when she kept leaving their property because she was left outside alone all hours of the day. The poor girl was just looking for a little affection! Thankfully, she found her way all the way to a foster home in Colorado, where she gets all the love and affection in the world! She is a very lovey, playful girl who enjoys slipping her head under your arm and rolling her way into your open lap. ;) She loves to play with other dogs, and she gets lonely without them, so we think she definitely needs to go to a home with another pup to keep her company. She does have pretty intense separation anxiety without a furry friend or a family member staying with her all the time, but she isn't destructive. She loves to play with other dogs and she's good with kiddos. She knows basic commands and walks really well on a leash, but she does bark and growl at passersby. She wouldn't dare harm them, she just wasn't properly socialized as a puppy, so this is her way of saying "I really want to say hi, but this silly leash is holding me back -- how rude!".  She is good with new dogs and people coming into 'her' home and just wants to say hello! She is truly such a gem -- some family is going to be beyond lucky to adopt this angel!  Apply to adopt at lolasrescue.com. show less
