Meet this darling old man. He doesn’t act like it! Charlie is a happy, easy-going dog. He loves going on walks and sniffing out the neighborhood. He is a little rickety on his backend, but he keeps on moving. He gets along well with other dogs and young children. He has not been exposed to cats while in his foster home. He is somewhere over 12 years old, and he weighs around 60 pounds. He is a big guy, but he is slender. He is so full of love, you would expect him to weigh more.
He came to GRRACE with a large growth on his side. He was a fabulous patient throughout it all, and his surgery was very successful. The doc removed his spleen and part of his intestine, colon and stomach. But that has not held him back. Charlie is a voracious eater; he always eats his meals and any treat offered. He is a big chewer, so he will need plenty of bones and lots of attention to occupy him. He would do best in a home with either no dogs or gentler dogs. His FoBro is a two-year-old and is a little too much for Charlie. He loves attention. He loves getting bushed and lots of pets. He is a good sniffer and explorer. He also likes his lazy time, too.
This sweet boy needs and deserves your big heart!
