About Tiger

Adoption Fee: $250.00

Hi, I’m Tiger. I’ve been told by so many people how handsome I am, and I’m trying not to let it go to my head. My life was turned upside down and I ended up in a rescue, but I don’t mind because there have been so many nice people that feed me and hug me so I’m happy to be here. I love hugs and cuddles and my whole body wags when I’m happy. I don’t jump on people and I’m usually really polite. I really like to hang out with kids because they’re fun and they’re always playing with cool toys (which I learned I’m not supposed to chew). The kids like me to stay in their rooms at night and I’m happy to do that to make sure no monsters come out of closets. I especially like riding along to take the kids to school or anywhere. Watching the world go by from the car window is one of my favorite things. I bark at anyone not wearing a helmet on their bike or motorcycle, and the people holding cardboard signs too. My foster mom doesn’t like it when I do that, but I really think it’s important to wear a helmet. I love the chance to play with other dogs, but I’ve been told I need to be a little more gentle. I’m a big dude and sometimes I get carried away. My foster mom says I’m the fastest dog she’s ever seen. I’m ready for my furever home, and I’d like a family that can play with me and give me lots of opportunity to run. I’m long and lean and I’d like to stay that way. My foster mom calls me yoga dog because I’ve mastered the cobra pose, and of course downward dog. I have a lot to offer a family. I want to be everywhere you want to be…like a Visa card. I’m such good company whether it’s playing or napping while you work, and I’m up for anything.

Chico is actually a Chica, and she is the sweetest little chica on the planet! She was given up by her owners in Kansas after they got mad when she kept leaving their property because she was left outside alone all hours of the day. The poor girl was just looking for a little affection! Thankfully, she found her way all the way to a foster home in Colorado, where she gets all the love and affection in the world! She is a very lovey, playful girl who enjoys slipping her head under your arm and rolling her way into your open lap. ;) She loves to play with other dogs, and she gets lonely without them, so we think she definitely needs to go to a home with another pup to keep her company. She does have pretty intense separation anxiety without a furry friend or a family member staying with her all the time, but she isn't destructive. She loves to play with other dogs and she's good with kiddos. She knows basic commands and walks really well on a leash, but she does bark and growl at passersby. She wouldn't dare harm them, she just wasn't properly socialized as a puppy, so this is her way of saying "I really want to say hi, but this silly leash is holding me back -- how rude!".  She is good with new dogs and people coming into 'her' home and just wants to say hello! She is truly such a gem -- some family is going to be beyond lucky to adopt this angel!  Apply to adopt at show less
