About Rodgers

Adoption Fee: $250.00

Rodgers is a big goofy, playful boy who would love a home with a yard to run around in! He does tend to get excited and jump up on people so a home with older kiddos is suggested. He's doing great so far with the other pups in his foster home. He's a big fan of food and treats and a sucker for a good scratchin'! He likes car rides, but does get car sick as well.

Sky is all about love. He loves unconditionally and needs a home with humans that will provide nothing less of that. Sky loves being next to his humans. Making sure you are comfortable and protected. Sky would do best in a quite home and a home that has plenty of room for play time because Sky LOVES to play. Tug a war is his favorite, he loves squeaker toys, a peanut butter filled kong, along with playing fetch with a tennis ball. All this playing needs to be indoors or somewhere fenced and gated with at least a 6 foot fence. Being so young, Sky is learning basic training commands still before trying off leash. However, Sky has a lot of potential. He knows sit, lay down, high five, and stay. Sky is extremely smart and learns quick with consistent training…preferably with small treats to be rewarded. Sky does well on leash when there are no distractions. Walks right next you you with a lose leash feel and loves to occasionally stop to remind you to smell the roses. However since he is so young and his breed is high energy, you will need to hold on tight if Sky is on leash with distractions because he loves to go after bunnies and squirrels and gets extremely jealous when he sees other dogs off leash…its in my husky nature to chase after small animals and to run. My high energy requires lots of play, walks, and wouldn’t mind being ran. Sky is the best companion for you outdoor adventures on the trails. He loves hiking and playing in the snow. I am very quite in the house and love relaxing and napping in between play time. He loves all humans and has never shown aggression towards any humans. Sky is house trained and well behaved in his kennel. Sky loves being brushed and endless belly rubs and snuggles. show less
