About Chloe Mom to C pups

Meet Chloe! Chloe is a terrier mix around 3 years old! UTD on all shots, spayed. Chloe was an owner surrender who was pregnant at the time and gave birth to 5 beautiful pups who have since found their forever homes. Now it is mommies turn. Current foster says she is a very sweet girl who is crate trained, still learning to walk on the leash, playful and very loyal to her foster mom (If I try and have my daughter take her out to potty she will not go with her until I go) Chloe is the QUEEN on the back of the couch and will snuggle in bed with you if allowed. Chloe is good with dogs, cats but is the ALPHA DOG so no other Alphas can be in the home otherwise she has a bad habit of marking inside trying to win over my ALPHA dog. Chloe would do best in a home that is Calm and Quiet as she still gets nervous around new people. A FENCED in Yard is a MUST! (She bolts for the door and gets out) if you think this sweet girls is the perfect match for your home please apply today at charliescrusaders.org

Meet Bojangles! Bojangles needs our help. Bojangles is around 18 months old, fully vetted, neutered, good with other dogs of same size and age, and if other dogs in house they need to be submissive.  He will do well with proper, slow introduction to new dog(s).  He loves people. Does not like cats.  Bojangles is deaf, but doesn’t let it get in his way of having fun each day! He knows some sign language and is eager to learn more. Bojangles was brought to the shelter because the previous owners said he kept jumping a 4 ft fence because he was bored,  we believe he was just lonely. The only reason he wasn't euthanized is because everyone loved him at the shelter. **If anyone has experience with sign language that would be a plus.**  Apply at Charliescrusaders.org   PLEASE NOTE: You must own your home(not a townhome or condo), have a fenced in yard and have breed experience.  PLEASE DO your research and be an educated adopter or foster because he is deaf. He may need and cost more than the "basic" vet care. Bojangles will need special training and socialization,  Recommend for a home with children 13 and older. Current foster says this about him: He is just the greatest dog- easy loving. He definitely doesn’t like cats.  He’s so good on a walk 3 times a day- improving w/ bikes and people passing by.  Sitting in a fenced yard would be so horrible for him - the family should be active and enjoy taking him out and not leaving sit in a fenced yard. He just loves being loved 💕💕  Simple signs for walking, eating, etc will be learned by him. It’s just that the person needs to be understanding of his need for touching because his other sense isn’t there. show less

Meet Campbell! Campbell is a sweet boy around 3 years old with similarities to a Pit and Lab mix. Campbell is around 60 pounds of love and kisses. Campbell was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis, TN in late 2019 and then spent 6 weeks in boarding in the south while waiting for a foster in the north. When Campbell finally found a foster family and arrived in Pennsylvania, he was found to have heart worms (treatable, but very preventable) and he received heart worm treatment in early 2020. While getting the care for the heart worm treatment, his foster family fell completely in love and adopted him. Campbell is now heart worm free and will need monthly heart worm preventative (a chewable pill) and yearly heart worm testing. Shortly after being adopted, Campbell’s dad started working from home full time because of COVID-19, and Campbell completely flourished. He enjoyed spending all day with his dad, 2 dog brothers, and 2 cat siblings. Campbell’s mom also enjoyed more time with the family because her work hours had been reduced. Tragically, on June 9th, Campbell’s dad passed away from a heart attack, leaving Campbell, his siblings, and his mom devastated. For the past 3 weeks, Campbell has been staring at the door for hours, waiting for daddy for return. Campbell is getting depressed and soon Campbell’s mom has to return to work full time. Campbell’s mom knows that Campbell needs a family that will be home more than she can she be and reached out to Charlie’s Crusaders. Campbell is a “Velcro dog” and needs people and will actively seek out attention. For that reason, Charlie’s Crusaders requires that Campbell be adopted into a home where he will not be left alone. Campbell will also need a home with a 6 foot fenced in yard and a family with higher energy- he loves to play and run around. He is getting very good at fetch, but needs some training to not jump on people. Campbell loves rope toys and fake “growls” while he plays tug of war. Campbell also LOVES to cuddle, snuggle, and get belly rubs. Due to the tragic circumstances of why Campbell is being listed for adoption, we ask that the new adopters agree keep in touch with Campbell’s current mom, as she is understandably devastated. Campbell is up to date on his shots and neutered. Campbell is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash or harness. Campbell is great with older kids (he still jumps when excited), cats, and dogs. If you are interested in adopting Campbell, please apply at charliescrusaders.org! Please Note Must Own your own home, Have a 6ft fenced in yard and breed experience. show less
