Meet 1 yr old Archer, he's a pure bred Belgian Malinois. He came to us from a rescue partner down in fresno ca. He is a happy boy, typical of the breed. He needs a breed savvy home. He is dog social, and learning not to mount (he was just fixed). He does great with firm boundaries and proper exercise. He would love a doggy friend, he of course loves the ladies.  They are fixed, vaccinated, and adoption includes being microchipped, current on flea/tick prevention meds and has been dewormed. They come with a collar, 2 free vet exams, a bag of grain free dog food, and a private training session with certified trainer, and more! adoption fee: $375.  We accept Cash and Debit/Credit Cards. There is a 2.5% fee if using a card at the time of adoption. Meet 6 month old Finnick, he is a special needs puppy who came to us very injured from Fresno Humane. He was hit by a car a MONTH before animal control found him. When found he was covered in open raw wounds from dragging himself around. He was x rayed and put on meds and then sent to us. He has been seen by our vet and sad to say he has a broken back. His outter wounds have healed but he will never walk again with his back legs. Finnick has had a wheel chair donated to him and he's amazing in it. He has something called a "drag bag" that protects his rear limbs when outside of his chair so he can cruise around in the house without making a mess or hurting himself. Finnick doesn't have control over bladder or bowels but he has wraps for urine called belly bands (he has several that will go home with him) and when crawling aroudn the house a diaper works in his drag bag to prevent stool accidents. At night he sleeps in an x pen, he is pretty darn good about not stepping in any accidents if he has any. He will need a special home who is willing to always change his wraps a few times a day and someone who will take him out as his mind is a normal puppy and he LOVES to run and play fetch in his wheel chair. He is dog and cat friendly but takes him a little while to warm up to new dogs (fear barks at first). He is about 20lbs and we expect him to be about 30-35 once full grown. He is a happy puppy and loves snuggles. He deserves a chance at a forever home. Adoption includes supplies to help his new home start caring for him which incudes his wheel chair, drag bag, belly bands and absorbant inserts, creams, collar, his water proof bed, etc. He needs may sound intensive, but really it doesn't amount to excessive work throughout the day, if serious we'd be happy to put you in touch with his foster mom so she can talk to you more in depth about his routines. They do work full time and manage him fairly well. He loves being outdoors, totally could be a dog to do beach trips, hikes, and loves fetch!!! Just because he us injured doesn't mean he can't enjoy life.  They are fixed, vaccinated, and adoption includes being microchipped, current on flea/tick prevention meds and has been dewormed. They come with a collar, 2 free vet exams, a bag of grain free dog food, and a private training session with certified trainer, and more! adoption fee: $100.  We accept Cash and Debit/Credit Cards. There is a 2.5% fee if using a card at the time of adoption. If interested in meeting this dog, please email: adopt@luckypawssite.org to request an application or come down to Petsmart this Saturday 7/20 from 12:30-4pm inside Petsmart (2847 Chad drive) by Costco in Eugene! Meet 1.5 yr old Libby, she is a 25lb JRT type mix who lived on a chain her whole life prior to being rescued along with her 7 pups. She is super sweet, been around kids and other dogs in foster and even met some kitties. Heres what foster mom says "Libby spent her life tied to a tree so her foster mom has been spending time exposing Libby to all kinds of new things. Libby is shy and insecure at first but is gaining confidence every day. She is very sweet and wants nothing more than to please. She loves to go on walks and sit next to you on the couch. She wants to go every where you go and will be your “shadow”. Libby sleeps well in a crate at night and has had no accidents in the house. She is skittish around sudden movements and loud noises but has done well with children and other dogs. Meet Oliver, 3 year old rottie/chow/shep type mix, big boy. Okay with some other dogs, but best with playful dogs his size. Hes a rough and tumble kind of guy so little dogs he doesn'tknow how to tone down his play. Good with kids, currently fostered on 200 acres and he minds very well especially after he bonds. Oliver is currently in foster with 3 young little girls, but seems fearful of young male children when in a crate so we are currently saying no young children.  Fine with men and seems fine with people outside of the crate thus far. Hes a big boy probably in the 85-90lb range, tall. Oliver came to us after being for adoption for a year in CA. He has lived in a kennel for the past year and it can take time for him to learn life outside. His prior bio stated that he loves people.  Needs a dog savvy home with strict rules and boundaries and doesn’t like dogs in his face. Oliver is a very handsome, confident boy.  He’s lived half his life in a kennel so he’ll need someone to give him a secure, structured home.  He is very respectful when given boundaries.  Waits to be invited in.  Will sleep in a crate and sticks close to his people.   They are fixed, vaccinated, and adoption includes being microchipped, current on flea/tick prevention meds and has been dewormed. They come with a collar, 2 free vet exams, a bag of grain free dog food, and a private training session with certified trainer, and more! adoption fee: $225.  We accept Cash and Debit/Credit Cards. There is a 2.5% fee if using a card at the time of adoption.
