Hope was a walking skeleton when she was abandoned and tied to a pipe in an empty house. She was fearful and unsure when Mike Merrill, Taira Adair Campbell and Dawn Anderson showed up to rescue her. They called JSO and ACPS because this was no doubt a cruelty case and someone needed to answer for what had been done to this poor dog. She spent a short period in ACPS, and when the investigation was completed, she came home to FUR. Her amazing foster Leanne Rubio stepped right up and took her in. Thank you to everyone who donated to Hope's recovery. She has a lot of 'angels' looking out for her.
Hope is so silly and goofy. Definitely a big puppy. She is very obedient and loves to play with her foster brother in the backyard. She can be a bit over zealous when playing. She loves going for walks and is a very active dog and would do best in a family that will give her lots of exercise.
Hope has made incredible progress, and to be honest she doesn't even look or act like the same dog. She is a gorgeous girl with quite the personality. Her foster mom loves her and brags on her. Whoever ends up adopting this baby into their life is going to be one super lucky family.
