Kellie JuM Grab a blank sheet of paper and start jotting down all the traits you would want in a doggie! Did you write down the perfect size of 35 pounds fully grown at 1 year old? Did you scribble down…looks smashing in a turquoise tutu, but is just as fabulous in a full on lion mane? How about….silly and fun with a crinkled Boxer mug? You know what….. hand me that piece of paper, lemme see if it says…… makes friends with every dog she meets??? Gulp. Ooops I ate your paper, but that is cool, because it said MEEEEEEEE! My name is Kellie and I am your perfect playmate, because I am an energetic girl, yet settle down when required too. I am great in my kennel as long as you don’t mind a little nose noise, because I do snore. It’s adorable if you ask my Foster Mom, maybe not too adorable if you ask my kennelmate Mase. I am currently mentoring a black and tan Labby mix named Mase because he needed some wiggle butt in his life after his brother Chase got adopted. I took him under my wing to bring him out of that turtle shell (I need to stop using animal ruffrences, Foster Mom is likely already online ordering a bird and turtle costume). I hope to be adopted to a home with another dog, because I love to play chase and tuggy war with other dogs. And if I don’t have another doggie to rumble around with, I might just do the play bow to your garden gnome and that is just gonna be weird. Don’t make me get weird. Hard to believe I was on the urgent 5 oclock list at the city shelter when I have immeasureable amounts of wiggle, waggles and wuzzles to offer. I know SIT and I also know a good squeaky toy when I see it. I am working on completion of my potty training certificate. And it is best to feed me separate because I don’t like other dogs hitting up my bowl, but really shouldn’t all dogs have their own bowl anyway? Even though I look cute in a wild hakuna matata lion outfit, doggies are not supposed to be in the wild fending for ourselves, so I am happy to be an indoor doggie now. I hope I meet your expectations for adoption, if not I am gonna troll your Facebook newsfeed, and by troll I mean actually wear a green haired troll wig and remind you what you are missing out on. Fun. You are missing 35 pounds of fun. Disclaimer: Wardrobe not included. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for Adults and $500 for puppies, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Occasionally the adoption fee may increase if the dog is purebred or a "highly desirable" designer breed but any increase will be noted in the pup’s description/bio. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery. Microchips will be registered to new owner(s) within a week of arrival of your pet. If a name change is desired, the new name should be emailed to records@godsdogsrescue.org prior to arrival of your new pup. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it! show less
