Callie is a black labrador retriever blend about 6 years old and currently weighing 48 lbs. Callie is a gorgeous girl with an old soul. If she had the option she would lay around on the couch while getting pet all day. Callie has been very friendly around people and always greets you with a tail wag. She does not jump or bark a lot. We do not mind the dogs being on the couches so she got up once allowed, but didn't automatically jump on the furniture. To our knowledge, she has not had any exposure to children, so I am not sure how she would do. We do not have any cats. Callie has not had any accidents inside the house since we got her so she appears to be housebroken. I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive! and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application found at https://sanantoniopetsalive.org/adopt/ Adoption Dog- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SAPA/Dog Adoption Cat- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SAPA/Cat After your application is pre-screened, we will connect you with the pet. Cheeky qualifies for San Antonio Pets Alive's Seniors for Seniors program ... her adoption fee is waived for an approved adopter at least 55 years of age. If you are looking for the perfect senior dog then look no further. I may be going on 13 but don't let that fool you, I'm full of life, love, and energy and I'm in wonderful health as you can see from my big cheeky smile. I'm potty trained, crate trained, I love kids, and I get along great with cats and kittens (but I would like to be an only dog). I also know how to sit, shake and listen to commands. I love car rides and will happy feet dance for you when you shake the car keys and tell me we are going for a car ride. Apart from sticking my head out the car window and feeling my ears flap in the wind, I love to spend time outside on my dog bed, and go on adventures to the park. All I need is some love, sunshine, and a nice comfy spot to take a nap. If you think you have room for this deserving girl, please apply today! I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive! and I am in a foster home.
