I have the option to take the new pet to a Vet within 14 days of payment, for a General Exam and any necessary vaccinations, deworming, medications or medical treatment, at my own expense (with the only exception of a puppy contract that will list what MHR is covering). MHR strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stresses of changing environments, food and travel, can lower an animal’s immunity, and the pet could harbor infection or illness, without displaying symptoms in their foster homes. Some dogs will stop eating for the first day or two in a new home. We do Not guarantee the health of any animal.

Adopter can return the adopted pet for exchange or refund within 14 days of payment made, for a *Previously Undiagnosed Health Reason ONLY (verified by licensed Veterinarian). MHR does Not reimburse for medical bills and does Not guarantee the health of any animal.

Adopter agrees to keep any puppy or non-fully vaccinated adult dog, away from public places. This includes, but is not limited to: parks, beaches, hiking trails, baseball fields, neighborhood walks, store visits, other family home visits, public sidewalks, front yards, away from other unvaccinated dogs/puppies… etc.

*Breach of Contract: Failure to comply with any and all provisions, instructions and requirements listed in this agreement, other contracts or agreements pertaining to adoption, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by MHR, will be considered a Breach of Contract. The Adopter will be required to, and is agreeing to, be responsible for return the dog(s) to MHR immediately, at owners expense, time, transport and cost of fees. Adopter will NOT be entitled to a refund.

Behavioral Issues: (i.e. biting, destruction, escapism, fearfulness, dominance) that might lead to abandonment of the animal: Adopter agrees to contact an obedience trainer as well Mutt Hut Rescue to follow the recommendations in resolving any issues as an effort to maintain custody of the adopted animal. If the safety of any human (adult or child) has been put in danger due to the behavior of said animal it is the adopters sole responsibility to ensure the behavior never occurs again

I agree that MHR makes no express or implied warranty, promise, or representation as to age, health, breed, habits, disposition or safety of the animal. I hereby accept the animal As Is, assume all risks and responsibilities associated with the ownership and possession of Animal, including but not limited to; bites, and hereby fully and completely release, indemnify and hold harmless MHR, its directors, officers, servants, volunteers and employees from any claim, cause of action, liability of any nature, known or unknown, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with adoption, care, ownership, condition, maintenance or temperament of Animal. I acknowledge that I have read this agreement in it’s entirety, fully understand all terms and conditions, and that I will fully comply at all times. Failure to comply with any provision listed, will be considered *Breach of Contract. If it becomes necessary to involve legal representation, for any reason, the adopter agrees to pay all attorney's fees necessary as permitted by law, as well as filing fees, incurred by MHR. I agree that this E Signature is considered a legally binding signature.
